-Aristas POV-

My first thought upon hearing my powers was probably not the best. All I could think was that I am a definate threat now. Fire and Wind? Combined? Somehow I don't see that ending well for anybody as it could backfire in a plethera of ways. And to me, burns are one of if not the worst kind of injury to recieve. Why on earth could I, the one who's always been scared of burns the one who is cursed with the ability to manipulate fire itself? Fate has a cruel sense of irony is all I can say.

Cade looks slightly amused as he watches my face closely.

"You know, you have a very easily readable face my dear." He says lightly.

I snarl "Am I simply here for your entertainment you idiot or is there anything else you need to tell me? If not, then get out. I don't want to deal with the walking-talking Ken doll right now if you don't mind."

"Oh you are definitely entertaining. I feel like a child with a new plaything."

"You are disgusting."

"You are loud and stubborn."

"Says the guy who couldn't even sneak up on me in Disneyworld. Your skills are sadly lacking in the quiet department."

"My God you're such a child."

"And you're an egomaniac."

He does a mock bow as he stands. "And proud of it."

Ugh. I need to get him out of my room so I can process this information.

"Alright Cade, get out."

He steps closer and I make sure I don't back up this time. I can't let him intimadate me again.

"Are you sure you want me to leave, Kitten?"

Ew gross. Word of advice to all guys. The biggest turn off for a girl is being called Kitten, pass it on.

"Yes." I manage to sound a lot more sure than I am. He steps even closer, so close I can see a few faded freckes dusted across his nose.

"If you ask nicely, I'll leave."

I raise my eyebrow and ask, "What exactly consists of "asking nicely" hm?"

He flashes a grin and steps closer than I thought possible.

I can't breathe.

"Well my dear," He says, lightly running his hands down my arms leaving a trail of goosebumps in his wake.

Yep it's official. My heart's stopped beating.

"It consists of..."

Just as he's about to tell me, a loud buzzer echoes through my room. We both jump back quickly, I can already feel a blush staining my cheeks and ears red, and for the first time Cade looks slightly disgruntled. He even sounds it as he speaks again.

"Ah yes well, hm, yes I think I'll be going."

He starts out the door and I reach out my hand towards him, asking one more question before he leaves.

"But wait!"

He turns and I can already see he's got his pride and his composure back in place.

"Yes?"

"What was that buzzer for?"

"Oh I almost quite forgot. That tells you the next meal is in a half hour. Be there."

And wiith that he turns on his heel and exits my room promptly, leaving me with my mouth hanging wide open.

Wow. He didn't even tell me where to go for the meal or anything. I sit on my new bed and sigh in frustration, raking my hands through my tangled curls. I guess I'd better get ready for whatever meal is next. I have lost track of the time after being kidnapped, knocked out multiple times, and going through the many different dizzying emotions that set my head spinning.
