They Will Know Their Mistake

-Arista's POV-

I gasp as I bolt upright, remembering the rant I was on before I blacked out. I always thought fainting would be such romantic thing too, but it most certainly is not. It is painful, scary, and not something I want to repeat. Plus I'm pretty sure I was drooling pretty heavily while I was out because that would be just my luck. Taking in my surroundings I realize I am back in my room, laid across my narrow bed.

How the hell did I get here?

My mind is trying to remember and I laugh a bit, I've been waking up in weird locations with no memory of how so often it's becoming commonplace. But someone had to have brought me back here, I was in the employee area....Cade. That's who. He showed up just before I blacked out. Although I wouldn't trust Cade as far as I could throw him, I guess he acted a little decent in bringing me back here.

Well where is he now then?

Cade suddenly pops his head around the doorframe of my bathroom, effectively drawing a startled squeak from me.

Speak of the devil, and he shall appear... is his hair wet?

His silky blonde hair is stringy and darker by at least two shades, sticking to his forehead where it usually lays neatly. He has a towel draped around his neck carelessly, and as he scans the room his eyes alight on me, in my sitting position on my bed.

"Help yourself to the shower, why don't you?" I deadpan.

"Thanks I think I will." He responds just as lifelessly.

He heads towards the door, saying over his shoulder as he leaves, "Oh, by the way. Training starts at seven tomorrow morning, be there."

I cry out "But wait!"

"What?" He huffs.

Gee, no need to be rude Mr. Kidnapper.

"How do I get there? I don't know my way around!"

"I will pick you up here at six forty five tomorrow, be ready and waiting or I leave without you. Goodnight Princess."

        And with that, he's gone.

Groaning in frustration I let my hair loose from it's now straggley bun, releasing the pressure on my scalp. Shuffling into the bathroom I take in my appearance, rumpled clothes, bloodshot eyes which are back to a grey-ish color, and a makeup-less face make me cringe. I decide to shower again and after warming myself back up under the steamy spray, braid my drenched hair so that it will dry nicely tomorrow. After brushing my teeth rapidly I go back to my bedroom, even though I'm still wearing my cafeteria clothes, they are comfortable enough to sleep in and honestly I'm exhausted to the point of not caring.

Collapsing into the bed I notice how dim the lights are.

They must be on some kind of timer I guess...

Settling into the pillows and scratchy sheets I think over everything that has happened.

Will I ever get out?

Suddenly an idea dawns, and I am filled with hope.

They have to send me on a mission some time. And when they do...

        I grin.

They will know of the mistake they made in bringing me here.
