-Unknown POV-

"Sir we have to get a scan on her now! Why are we just letting her wander freely!"

He looks at me and a slow grin oozes across his face as he speaks.

"I assure you my good man, she will not be going anywhere. While she has the potential to be special, I will not hesitate to use standard protocal should she try to escape."

"Sir, if I may ask, why are we not going to scan her yet?"

"I doubt you already know this so I shall enlighten your somewhat dim mind. Cade has already scanned her, and for some reason he erased her results from the system. I want to know why that little brat felt he needed to do so. I intend to observe them for an undetermined amount of time to see what I can discover. And by me, I mean you. Find out what you can, you're dismissed."

I walk to the door, as my hand touches the control panel he speaks again.

"Oh, and Evan?"

Crap.

"Try not to mess this up too badly. You know what happens to those who disapoint me."

His laugh surrounds me and abruptly stops as I exit the room and the door slides shut.
