Keefe
"Keefe?" Someone said which made Keefe snap back into reality. It took it a second to process the voice was Sophie.
"Yeah?" He said, wishing his voice didn't sound so crackly.
"Do you want to go on the mission?" Sophie asked.
He hesitated before he said, "I'll go if you go."
"Okay, I guess that settles it. Get your stuff packed. You are leaving next week." Mr Forkle said.
"Next WEEK?!" Sophie and Keefe said at the same time.
"Yes. Now, you two have a lot of packing to do." Mr. Forkle said.

"What should I pack?" Sophie asked Keefe on her imparter.
"I don't know. I was going to ask you the same question." He laughed. "Before we go on this mission can you promise me one thing?"
"Uhh... sure?" She said.
"You HAVE to bring me to your favorite vacation spot." He begged.
She hesitated. "Well, I've been to DisneyLand once and I've also been to Florida, but that's it. No really." She added when Keefe went speechless.
When he could speak again, he said, "I don't know what surprised me more: you only going to a couple of places while you lived in the Forbidden Cities for twelve years or Dex having his own land named after him. Things are really strange in the human world, aren't they?"
"You have no idea." Sophie mumbled.
When she said that, he could tell that there was something else she wanted to say but didn't. And he was pretty sure she would have said, it's the same here. "Are you okay?" He had to ask.
"I'm fine," She paused, "it's just that, you know, sometimes things get 'strange' around here, too. You know? Like when I figured out that I was an 'experiment' or when I figured out I could teleport and all of that stuff."
"I get the experiment part. Not the I-manifested-my-5th-ability-that-no-one-has part. I think that is pretty cool," He said with a smirk.
When he said that, Sophie laughed saying, "Come on, Lord Hunkyhair. We've got a lot of packing to do. And two languages for you to learn."
