Leo

"So you thought we were children of Zeus or Jupiter because we could fly?" Sophie asked. That was one of the only questions Sophie asked, to Leo's surprise. She was pale and looked like she was about to faint. Keefe, on the other hand, would interrupt way too much. But Leo liked this guy. He reminded him of himself, though he wasn't sure if Keefe had as traumatic of a past as his.

"I'm a son of Jupiter. I felt a shift in the air right when Frank spotted you. I'm sure we can see through your obscured thing because we're demigods," Jason said.

"Why didn't Foster tell me about this stuff?" Keefe asked.

"I didn't think it would matter. Demigods were just myths. Until now. Just like elves," Sophie said in a small voice. That's the second time they have mentioned elves.

"What do you mean, elf? That's the second time you've mentioned it," Annabeth said. Keefe sighed like he was done with this conversation but Leo knew it was just starting.

"We're elves. Not connected to Greek or Roman mythology. Natural good looks, but I'll say, if I were human, I'd be the handsomest one alive," Keefe said.

"So why don't you have pointy ears? Do you make cookies for a living? If so, I'd gladly like some recipes. I'm sick of the brownie recipe we got," Leo said.

"No. We live in the Lost Cities. I'm assuming you've heard of Atlantis at least. Some elves live there. We have an undetermined lifespan because no elf has died of natural causes. After about three thousand years, our ears start to get pointy. And no. We don't make cookies," Sophie explained. She went on more and Leo wasn't sure he was following. She mentioned things about skills and abilities (which were two different things?) and body temperature regulation. He was just plain lost.

"So you each have an ability manifested to you?" Nico asked. "Is it genetic?"

"It can be but you can also get an ability that doesn't have anything to do with your parents' abilities. My friends, the Vackers, all got abilities that their parents had. Whereas one of my friends, Marella, manifested in ability that neither of her parents had," Sophie responded.

Leo was starting to understand some things until they mentioned the matchmakers.
