Chapter 6 ~ We Can't Get Caught

Hux stood, his eyes where twinkling, this was the first time anyone had ever got close to him and he felt safer and calmer, knowing that he now had someone on his side.

'None must know' he whispered, lifting Millie's chin to look at him.

'I understand' Millie said.

'I know it's hard Millie, but you need to keep your mind blank about me to Ren and Snoke, they will sense your feelings towards me' Hux said 'I-I don't want to lose you' he whispered.

'i will, for you Armitage' Millie replied. She placed her hands on his chest.

Hux stared at them for a second but relaxed.

'I will Finnish looking through the list for you' Hux mummers, pulling away from Millie gently.

'thank you Armitage' she whispered and kissed his forhead.

The feeling of the kiss lingered on Hux. He was unsure about this, on one hand he really started to like, even love Millie, on the other hand he was scared of the consequences of their actions together.  What the heck he thought, I don't care what my father or Ren thinks.

Suddenly the door opened, Millie's head was turned as a voice said 'General, good to see you escaped starkiller, and your assistant too? Commendable'

'ah admiral Holmes' Hux said.

Millie went white, he survived the explosion she thought. Oh god how did he survive.

'what can I do for you' Hux asked.

'I heard you where going to be stationed Fulminatrix soon' said Holmes looking at Millie. 'I would like to be stationed on it as well'.

Hux raised his eyebrows 'that prudent of you Admiral. I will get in contact with your answer'. Hux said, getting annoyed.

The admiral nodded and left, winking at Millie.

Hux was furious. How dare he assume his importance and how dare he wink and Millie. He looked at her, she was still alittle white.

'Millie, are you okay?' Hux mummers.

'yeah' she replies 'he just scares me Armitage'.

'then I will not appoint him Millie' Hux said. 'I don't want you scared'

'thank you' she said, walking up and hugging him close, gently she sat on his legs. Hux hugged her back, he felt her worry. Unsure Hux started to stroke her hair gently.

They let go and got on his data pad, writing a email to Holmes to deny his request.

'ah, Millie the Fulminatrix has docked, shall we go?' the general asks.

'of course' Millie said, 'thank you'.

The two kissed again deeply before leaving the office. Hux wrapped his arms around her neck as she held onto the lapels of his coat.

They let go and walked the hanger, getting into the transport ship. Admiral Holmes looked from the control room onto the hanger. He was angry that he had not been assigned to the Fulminatrix, even complaining to his fellow admirals about Hux's desition.

Millie and Hux where transported to the Fulminatrix and they walked to the bridge.

'set a course for the planet D'Qar' Hux barked as he walked in.

'yes General' they said and the ship went into lightspeed.
