Chapter 9 ~ Last Jedi Part 3

The two walked towards the hanger where a large amount of stormtroopers stood.

The two of them stood watching the prisoners being escorted in behind phasma.

They where forced to their knees infront of Hux. Millie stood a little distance off watching it unfolding.

Hux walked up to FN-2189 and slapped him with the back of his hand, and stared into his face.

'well done Phasma' Hux said.

'your ship and payment as we agreed' Millie said walking towards DJ and shaking his hand.

'your lying snake' the female prisoner shouted at DJ, trying to lunge at him but she was held back by a stormtrooper.

'we got caught' he said 'I cut a deal'

'wait' FN-2187 said 'cut a deal with what?'

'sir' a lieutenant said walking up to Hux 'we checked on the information from the theif. We ran a decloacking scan, and sure enough 30 resistance transporters have just launched from the cruiser.'

'he told us the truth' Hux said in mock Confusion. 'will wonders never cease?' he asked, walking over to Millie and winking subtly.

'No' the female prisoner said.

'is the weapon ready? Hux asked the lieutenant.

'ready and aimed sir' he replied.

'fire at will' Hux said.

'wait no!' the female prisoner shouted, struggling 'Millie help me'.

Millie turned white and Hux turned to her confused.

'I don't know you, nor would I want to scum' Millie said, walking over to the prisoner.

'you do' she pleaded 'it's me, Rose'.

Millie starred at Rose. Suddenly the memory. Rose had been best friends with her before she was sent to first order, before reconditioning. She had forgotten all about her past friend but the memories came flying back.

'execute them both' Hux shouted, guiding the white faced Millie out of the room and into a office.

'I-I'm sorry Hux' Millie said with tears in her eyes.

'yo-your a resistance spy aren't you?' Hux shouted, 'sent here to toy with my emotions and send messages to your scummy friends.' he pulled out his blaster tears in his eyes

'Hux no, you got it all wrong please don't kill me' Millie shouted moving closer towards Hux.

'stay away, you disgust me' Hux shouted.

'Armitage, if you truly love me let me explain, please. I love you, don't kill me' Millie begged.

Hux was silent so she carried on.

'She recognised me, from before training.'Millie stutters ' I knew her growing up. I forgot about her and lost contact. I had no idea she joined the resistance, never mind be on this ship. Search me if you must but I have nothing to hide'.

Hux stares at Millie but holsters his blaster.

'I'm so sorry Millie' Hux said, hugging her, tears flowing down his cheek. 'I was so scared I would have to kill you. You are the kindest and most beautiful person I have ever met.' he stutters. 'I don't want to lose you'.

'I don't want to lose you either' Millie replied, holding onto Hux for dear life.

'come we need to get to the bridge to check on the progress' Hux mummers.

They held hands for a second before leaving.

The weapon was destroying the vessels with ease, destroying then one by one. Hux didn't notice the main ship slowly turning towards them. Before he noticed it was to late.

'Hux!' Millie shouted pointing at the ship. She knew what was going to happen.

'Fire on that cruiser' Hux shrieked but it was too late.

The whole ship jolted and slowly exploded.

Hux face quivered with shock.

'Millie, grab my hand' He shouted. Pulling her towards the door.

'We need to get to the supreme leader. He will tell us what to do.' Hux shouted.

The two sprinted past people in a panic, it was starkiller all over again Millie thought.

The two ran into the throne room to see Kylo laying in the middle of the floor. The dead body of Snoke and his guards littered about the floor.

Hux slowly pulled out his blaster but Millie shook her head, seeing Kylo's movements as he got up.

'what happened?' Hux asked Ren.

'the girl murdered Snoke' Kylo mutters as he got up.

'she took Snoke's escape craft' Hux said, staring at the open hatch to where it once was.

'we know where she is going' Kylo said 'get all our forces down to that resistance base. Let's Finnish this'.

'Finnish this?' Hux asked, anger boiling inside him 'who do you think your talking too? You presumed command over my army, the supreme leader is dead! We have no ruler!'

Hux suddenly grabbed his throat. Kylo turned, force strangling Hux.

'the supreme leader is dead.' Kylo stated.

'long live the supreme leader' Hux said through quick forced breaths.

Ren leaves, dropping Hux to to the floor.

'Armitage!' Millie shouted, dropping down to Hux and hugging him.

Hux stood up pushing past Millie.

'we must go Millie. Get the transports ready' Hux said, still gasping.

The two of them hand landed on the planet, standing in Kylo's ship looking over the battle. They had completely obliterated the resistance until a man walked out, clad in a robe.

'I want every gun we have to fire on that man' Kylo said calmly.

Millie looked up at Hux's confused face as Kylo started yelling 'more.'

'that's enough' Hux said, walking forward to stand behind Kylo.

'That's enough!' he shouted and the blasting stopped.

As the red dust settled it showed the man still standing there unharmed.

'bring me down to him' Kylo said. 'keep the door covered and don't advance until I say'

'Supreme leader. Don't get distracted' Hux said before he was flung backwards by Ren into Millie.

The ship landed and Kylo left the ship.

'Are you okay' Hux mummers at Millie, getting of her and helping her up.

'yes General' she said, shaken.

Hux nodded and watched what was happening outside.

When the man had disappeared Hux and Millie with troopers searched the base, discovering the escape wrote of the dwindling resistance.

Hux looked angry, tired and hurt as he walked and Millie walked back to the ships.

Hux went into a small bedroom and collapsed on it sobbing. Millie immediately ran over and rocked him gently.

'I'm dead. Your dead.' Hux whimpered.

'no' Millie whispered 'we will fight my love, we can fight'.

Hux hugged back as the ship jolted and started to move.
