You stared at Yuri in shock as you processed what she meant.

"W-why? What do you mean?" You stuttered worriedly.

"I'll explain on the way, now we have to hurry." She said frantically before waving at the car which must be the taxi she booked.

We both took the taxi and arrived to the airport in 45 minutes and took our tickets, having no baggage to check in and entered our terminal.

When the flight gates were opened we entered and sat at our designated seats and buckled up before you turned towards Yuri.

"Now tell me, what's going to happen to Haneul?" You asked seriously while she sighed.

"Yesterday, I received a text message from the guy I paid to spy on my father, and he showed me this picture." She said before shoving her phone your way.

You took it and stared at the picture which had your eyes widening.

"This is....." She nodded before taking the phone back.

"Yea, it's the guy who attempted kidnap on Haneul, twice. Once in front of the school campus and another time inside the music building, two nights ago. Where you saved her." She explained and locked her phone screen before staring up at you seriously.

"But, what does that mean?" You were still confused as she pursed her lips.

"It isn't a coincidence that the guy was arrested, only to be freed by someone and wants revenge from Haneul. There are a lot of girls he can attempt kidnapping but why Haneul again?" She stated which had you furrowing your eyebrows in confusion.

"He was hired by my father to abduct her since Haneul moved to Seoul so that he could plot his sabotage on her father. That sick man just took advantage of the kidnapping because he wants to rape her." She continued and that had you clenching your jaws and tightening your hands into a fist.

That motherfucker.

"The picture was send yesterday which means he was called back to Busan for a new strategy but then Haneul went back which was unexpected but it is of an advantage to him. She might be kidnapped again." She explained while your jaw twitched in fear.

After she explained, the both of you were silent and anxious on the plane ride and by the time you arrived, it was already late 10PM at night.

Yuri suggested you to followed to her home but you were worried to what if her dad finds out.

She assured that he wouldn't because he usually stays in another home made for the mayor, with her mom. We are now going to the home her family used to live before her dad became mayor.

When you arrived at her house, you placed that bag that you had packed, on the sofa before the both of you plopped down on it.

"Why can't I just go to my parent's house? It's closer to Haneul's, so I can protect her." You stated to which she shook her head.

"You can protect her, but only for a short period of time because my father will attempt again. We need to stop him once and for all and we need to be discreet. We need to find evidence and have him arrested too." She explained while you just stared at her appalled.

"Your own father Yuri, are you sure you would?" You asked softly while she sighed and hung her head.

"It's for the best." She stated sadly and later you heard a knock on the door and she went to open it, revealing a guy a bit older than us.
