After that incident that night, Saeroyi is hesitant to leave her all by herself in New York for the next remaining months, but she reasoned that time will pass by quickly and she will be back in no time plus she can take care of herself. Before he flies back to Korea he contacted Jason and asked for a favor, he secretly hired a bodyguard that will look after Yi Seo. He trusted Yi Seo hundred percent but he doesn't trust the people around her, he doesn't want to leave her into an unknown and unsafe environment. Although it's a short span time he still manages to meet the bodyguard that he will hire. Jason introduces a good friend Judo instructor, Mr. Alex Chen. He also masters in martial arts, Tia Chi and Karate. He is six feet tall with a muscular build.

Saeroyi gives instructions to him that he will tail her during her working hours, he needs to be at least 50 meters away from her so she will not be suspicious that someone is watching her, he needs to be alert always ready if someone might attack her. He should send a report to Searoyi daily of what has been happening to her. Jason chuckles at Saeroyi's overprotectiveness and said: "she's an independent strong lady, I think she misunderstands you if she will find out that you are tailing her."

"It is better safe than to be sorry," Saeroyi said seriously, "I almost lost her one time, back in Korea she was kidnapped by my enemies and they tried to kill her because of me" he recalled the unpleasant memories as he closes his eyes in bitterness. "If we arrived even one minute late that night I knew she will not survive and I will not either. This is the only way that I know that she is safe until she is back by my side."

Over the next months, nothing happed bad to Yi Seo while she is working in New York, and thank God she never discovers the bodyguard that her boyfriend hires. As usual, Saeroyi is ever busy handling a huge empire thanks to his friends and people he is managing his task daily, but even how busy Yi Seo in running their franchise in New York she makes sure that she submitted on time her reports regarding the finances of IC.

They celebrated their first anniversary separately, but they never forget to give a gift to each other. Saeroyi sends Tiffany& Corp Paloma's Griffity rose gold necklace with love pendant that studs with diamonds, while Yi Seo sends the latest smartwatch that looks elegant even he is wearing formal attire, of course, she secretly installed GPS tracking device and so she can monitor him where ever he goes......she wanted to get back to him after she discovered the man that he hired to tail after her. She has been noticing him daily following her even in the pub he is daily ordering drinks, she thought he was just a regular customer but she has a gut feeling that he is not. One night while she was walking home she purposely loses her tail to him, he frantically searching for her and she surprised him by spraying pepper spray on him. When she is about to call the police he confesses that he was sent by Saeroyi to secretly tail and protects her, at first she was fuming mad at her boyfriend but then she thinks of a solution on how she will get back to him.

She made a deal to the man to be her personal bodyguard and she will pay him the same amount that Saeroyi is giving him, plus her boyfriend will still be paying him because they will not tell him that she already discovers his plan. The bodyguard will report to Saeroyi the usual stuff.

Mr. Alex Chen is now regretting accepting the job offer of Saeroyi just because Jason ask him a favor, getting involved in lovers quarrel is a mess, he doesn't want to lie to Saeroyi and at the same time admitting that he got busted by a smart girl who knows well that she can defend herself, hurt his ego. Additionally, the boyfriend is overreacting towards his girl. Anyway, he just needs to endure for another three months.

The fresh spring air hits Yi Seo face as soon as when out of Seoul Incheon international airport. She supposed to finish in two weeks but she worked hard and finished all her tasks in advance, and of course, she wanted to surprise her boyfriend. It has been so long since the last time they saw each other, last January and now season change and its already May. She grabs her trolly bag and walks towards the taxi area, she will go home first, take a quick shower, and surprise him in the company. She slept most of the time in the plane in her 14 hrs of flight at the business class area so she is not tired, plus she can't wait anymore to see his face.
