I knew someone was at the other side of the wall. I stopped crying. Looked at Chia. She looked at me with a confused and surprised expression. But I didn't let her say anything. I made a silence sign with my finger, wiped my taers roughly and stood up. I went to the door, opened it and dragged the person inside, closing the door. I inmediately casted my dark magic in my hands and had a fighting pose ready to strike. But it was....Augustus Richards?
"OH MY GOD, PLEASE DON'T KILL ME" He screamed while he lay on the floor
I reacted and extinguished the magic. Rolling my eyes and offering him a hand. But he didn't take it. Instead I rolled my eyes again and went back to the couch with Chiara, waiting for him to come.
"Omg, that was amazing friend" Chiara said super exited.
I just laughed at her comment and said "Gus, come on, you know I will not hurt you, only if you try to tell this to someone huh" I said mockingly.
Augustus was Alec's friend, for me Gus was cute. There was an exam in groups where we were placed Chiara, Gus and me. Since then he eats lunch with us along with Gabriel. He is a very nice person and we enjoy his company.
Gus stood up from the floor with Chiara's help. He was scared, from me. It was so funny cause he always was teasing me and making fun of me, but now...it was so hilarious. I started to laugh uncontrollably, forgetting for a while all what had happened.
"It's not funny" He finally spoke
"Of course it is" I replied still laughing "Did you really thought I would kill you? Or even harm you?" I said with a grin
He just sat in front of us in the floor with a serious face. Chiara was sitting in the couch while my head was on her lap and I was laying on the couch.
I sat properlly on the couch with my legs crossed. "Ok, ok, I'm sorry. How do you want me to make up for it?"
"I want to know...how did you got those weird powers" He said, now starting to smile.
"But you eveasdropped all this time!" I said with a groan, since I had already told the story to Chiara once.
"Yeah...I just came here ten minutes ago, who knows how much you girls have been here since lunch"
Sooooo I started telling him all the story from the beggining....and then
"Yeah, so I have been since almost the first of December not knowing anything that happened, trying to find an explanation, watching the movies...waiting for Endgame..."
"Oh....I see" He said
"I really don't know what else to do" I said, frustrated
"Look, be patient, everything is going to be alright, you just gotta wait. ¿What else can you do? You can't do anything. Worrying is not the solution. So breathe, wait, and soon you will notice there are going to appear explanations." he said and he motioned for me to receive his hug. I smile and sat on the floor, giving him a hug.
I stood up and Chiara gave me a hug too.
"Thank you guys, really" I said
"You should rest for a while" Chiara said
"Yes, and please tell me if anything else happens, it's so cool you have powers" Gus said getting up, ready to go.
"That's not all what I can do" I said, now casting my white magic and making a cloud in the room. "This type of magic represents good and health, if you breathe you can feel relief and some pains are cured" I said
"THAT'S SOO COOL" Gus said enthusiastically
"You are amazingggg" Chia said. "I want to do that tooooooo" She said
"You can't haha...I am the only human being that can do this now...."
"I know that, you already told us, so stop being so arrogant" Chia complained
" Oh yeah, so do you want me to drop you in the Sahara?" I said while some blue dust was getting off my hand. Gus went away now, shaking his head. But just two seconds passed and I felt that pain. So long I hadn't felt my necklace burn through my neck. The pain only lasted one second, but it really hurt. I fell to the floor.
"Are you ok?!!!" Chiara said trying to pick me up. I made a sign with my hand for her to wait. I casted white magic and placed my hand to my neck, relieving the pain. I stood up
"Yeah, I'm fine, I forgot that using the gems' power for fun is not so permitted" I said.
"Be careful girl" She said motioning me to rest

I woke up, Chiara was sound asleep. I used the device near my eye to see what time it was. 4pm. "Oh no" I said. I stood up getting my things and waking up Chia
"Chiaaaaa! Wake up, I need to go now. Gabriel just text me that they just checked math exam, so we didn't have classes. I need to go now, my dad is going out of work soon" I said. Chia now awake
"Take care of yourself, bye" She said with her eyes closed, extending her arms for a hug. I returned the hug and started walking fast, getting out of the Red spot. I was almost running when I saw it was too late. I smashed against Barbara Smith. One of the most unbearable people that exist in Uni. She of course had to fall to the ground. Thank God today she didn't wear a skirt.
"Omg I'm so sorry" I said giving a hand to her and bowing.
"It's ok" She said, not acepting my hand and standing on her own "But next time ve careful" She said and went away hitting my shoulder.
I just wanted to hit her back. Of course I could, I knew how to fight a battle, I had killed soldiers, HYDRA soldiers. I could have only touched her with a little dark magic and she would have died right there. But I couldn't do that. Not here. It was too extreme, it was not me, not how you treat civilians. Instead I just walked to the exit. But something made my day right next. I looked up to the cafeteria...only to see Gus smiling. at. me. His brown eyes and his cute smile. I smiled back and he nodded in approval, as if saying he approved of my pacific attitude. I couldn't take off that smile from my face for the rest of the day.
