!!TW!! TALK OF VIOLENCE, GUNSHOTS, AND BLOOD

Hey Y'all! Sorry for the late update :(

How's everyone's day been?

Hope you enjoy this chapter- I had a LOT of fun writing it!

========================

Soft hands pulled my bloodstained shirt over my head, along with my bra. I was lifted into a bath of lukewarm soapy water, the pleasant aroma of lavender and vanilla filling my senses. I heard the soft splashing of liquid as more water was added to the bath, making the bubbles rise. The black bag was lifted off of my head, and I opened my eyes.

The room wasn't very bright, but my eyes still had to be adjusted to the light. The walls were a shade of light purpleish grey, and white subway tile lined the wall where the tub sat. The tub itself was small- there were small rubber grips in the shape of fish lining the bottom of it that reminded me of a child's bathtub. The bubbles in the bath reached to just above my chest, leaving my body mostly covered. I took a breath in and realized it didn't hurt. The teargas must have made its way out of my lungs, but I could still smell its peppery odour in my naturally curly hair.

As my vision began to clear up, I realized that I must have been drugged, since I can't remember getting taken out of the car or anything before that, and I am a very light sleeper. There's no way I would be able to stay asleep whule being carried away. I could also feel my heartrate start to speed up back to its normal pace after a couple deep breaths of the lavender air.

Jesus, what did they give me? I thought, as I lifted my hands to rub my forest green eyes.

"I'm sorry miss, but you have to keep your hands away from your face," a small voice said from behind me.

I jumped and turned around, wincing as my burned hand fell into the water. I looked up to see a tiny lightskinned girl around the age of 14 stare up at me with big brown eyes. Her mouth and nose were covered with a silk black cloth, leaving only her eyes to be seen. She was wearing a black silk crop top, the same fabric as the one on her face. Baggy red cargo pants hid her legs. They were cuffed at the end, showcasing her bright red and black strawberry socks. I squinted to see the same clown face I saw on the other's maks and clothes embroidered into her pants.

I knew I've seen that face before, but where? I stared at it as I searched my mind of when and where I know that from.

The girl inturrupted me and answered my question. "This?" She pointed at the face. "It's the sign of anonymous. I'm sure you've heard of them?" She tilted her head to look at me.

My eyebrows knitted in confusion for a minute, but I quickly realized who she was talking about. Anonymous... the hacking legends? THOSE were the people I saw? I never knew nerds could look that hot... I thought to myself, thinking of the practically 7 foot tall men I talked to.

I snapped myself out of my thoughts and asked the young girl, "Where am I? And why am I in this bath?" I asked, grabbing some bubbles and squishing them with my unburnt hand.

"Well," the girl started, standing up and walking to a medicine cabinet to the right of me. She searched the cabinet and produced a wash cloth and handed it to me, which I took. "I can't tell you exactly where we are because of security reasons.. but I can tell you that you're no longer in Minneapolis,"

I dipped the washcloth into the soapy water and began scrubbing my skin. No longer in Minneapolis? How long were we driving? I thought to myself as I washed my body.

"You're in the bath for the teargas, it'll stick to your skin and your hair, so we made sure to get you bathed as soon as you arrived." She added, going back to the medicine cabinet and pulling out a bottle of shampoo that read- "Curly Hair Tamer", and had a picture of a curly haired black woman smiling.
