The next day after the sludge incident, he and his mother went to Aldera and applied him to homeschooling the rest of the year.

When he saw Bakugou in the halls, a guilty look flashed at the bandages on his face. To say he was amused was an understatement. He relished in the regret that flooded the red eyes of his tormentor.

From then, he started upon his goal.

To become a hero.

He finished the rest of his schooling online in a couple days. Getting it over with so he had a head start on preparing himself. Fourteen months until the entrance exams of UA.

To earn money, he started a part time job at a coffee shop, working as a barista. Until he was able to get enough money to go to a dojo or gym, he ran early every morning for two miles, pushing himself to the limits.

When he found Dagobah beach, he was ecstatic, and quickly got to work with cleaning out the beach. Often he would find objects or electronics that could be used to make weapons.

That was how he started making himself support items, starting out with simple things, before moving to more complex designs. He should've found the hobby earlier, instead of just focusing on his analysis.

Speaking of analysis. Timing himself when doing analysis without a notebook became a regular thing, trying to get his on the feet thinking on point.

On the third month out of fourteen, he found himself halfway done with the beach, and having enough money to pay for dojo classes and a gym membership. He applied for Aikido classes, as well as Jujitsu. Not only that, but special classes for self defense with weapons and signed up for a gym membership.

This helped him learn that he was able to push his limits harder than most people. It seemed that with the evolution of quirks, came an evolution to the body. The body changed to where it can adjust to most everything, able to push past the limits of normal human beings before the quirks. Better physical attributes and senses. It was equivalent to a minor body enhancement quirk. Doubling how far the body can push itself.

The wound on his face had healed in those months. It was a large scar, in a jagged half-cirle on the right side of his face. He felt repulsed looking at his reflection, but reminded him of the regret that clouded Bakugou's features that day to keep him out of self-depricating thoughts.

Doing all of this without his mom's knowing felt good. It felt like she didn't have a say in everything going on in his life. She could get controlling at time. But it was because she had a quirkless child. She had to be as cautious as she was, watching everything her child did and preventing him from doing anything dangerous.

Right?

At night, after his afternoon nap, and when his mother was asleep, he would go out and scale the roofs. He'd practice running atop the roofs, often coming to witness attacks that happen on the streets. And when no one is there, he would step in and help the victim.

At seeing everything that happened on his nightly outings, he decided to help when he had something to cover his face. It took the third day of running around at night to give in to buying something for it.

He bought a beanie to cover his green hair, draping his hoodie over the beanie, and a black sick mask that covered the lower half of his face. Then there was the goggles he put over his eyes, dark lensed to train his sight in the dark and help hide his eye color.

His first encounter with a hero during his outings was interesting to say. He was chilling on a roof, nothing covering his face with only a hoodie present, black pants, and the new black shoes he bought.

The night was peaceful for once, and he was enjoying the view from the roof he decided to climb. Legs dangling as he hummed a tune to himself.

Light footfalls alerted him to someone walking up on him. He was able to look in the corner of his eye and see the figure. His right hand slipped into his pocket, and fished up the small knife in there. It was in regulation, so he was fine as long as it was self defense.

Before they could touch him, he sprung. Spinning around, his hand flicked open the knife and tackled the figure down. His knee dug into the gut of the person, and the knife in his hand was pinned against their throat.

His glare faded into recognition, and he eased up on the now identified male. The knife was pulled back and he moved himself off, sitting down a foot or two away as he scooted quietly.

A soft groan left the male's lips and he sat back up. Izuku took it upon himself to close the knife and slip it back into his pocket, lowering the hood covering his hair.

"Sorry 'bout that" he called to the recovering male, green eyes scanning over the male, "thought you were going to kill me"

Now four months since their last encounter, how time flew. But, they needed to stop their odd meetings. The first one was when he was injured, but now he was on a roof admiring the view. Weird indeed.

Eraserhead glanced at him, eyes lingering on the scar on his face for a second longer than the rest of him, and regained his bearings. "Been a while huh Eraserhead?"

A grunt was his response, not like ye expected anything more. "Thank you for helping me back then, would've been a trouble bandaging myself" a light smile appeared on his lips and a small beep resounded in the air.

He glanced down and moved his left arm up, pulling up the sleeve of the hoodie he wore, revealing the watch. A sigh left his lips and the smile fell, he didn't want to go home. He rather liked avoiding home and doing things to stay out for once. Home felt like a prison when your mother fretted over you with every single thing. But he can't have her finding out or she would install cameras in his room or something.

"Have to get going" and with a wave of his hand, he stood and moved to the edge of the roof, eyes scanning the wall for footholds. "Night"

And with that, he jumped.

Probably scared the shit out of the underground hero who found him bouncing from wall to wall expertly before landing on the ground and sprinting off.

Yeah.

Probably.
