Jongin tapped his foot on the floor, his face in a deep frown, brows creasing like he's currently in a thought— all of them were signs that he was in a bad mood and impatient.

"Do you want me to call Junmyeon hyung instead?" asked a worried Sehun. After dropping his fiancée at her shooting location, a furious Jongin called him for a meet up at the agency building. "He's good at talking with those people. Well, better than me, at least."

"No, I don't want to bother him," replied Jongin shortly.

"I know you're mad, Jongin. But you should talk to them with a clear head," said the younger guy. After Jongin told him what their agency had done, he knew that his only purpose here was to restrain Jongin's fiery temper— or keeping him from punching someone else's face.

"I will."

Sehun sighed. He honestly didn't understand their agency's motive by pulling this behind Jongin's back. They've been in the industry for a long time, what good would a dating rumour do?

A knock on the door proceded by a staff announcing that the man they were waiting for had arrived, made Jongin stand up faster than Sehun. He quickly ordered the frightened staff to lead them to the office.

Sehun shook his head discreetly. Putting his hand on the older's shoulder, he whispered, "Calm down, bro."

Jongin ignored that and went inside after the staff had announced their presence there to the man in the room.

"Kai-ssi, Sehun-ssi, is there anything I could help you?" Mr. Park, the agency's current PR director greeted them. "Have a seat please. I was in the middle of a great lunch when the staff called and told me that you two wanted to meet me to discuss something very important."

Sehun glanced at Jongin and then at their PR director who was seemingly unbothered by Jongin's death stare.

It was like he knew what they were going to say, but decided to act innocent instead.

"What is your plan?" Jongin asked, his tone flat. "My managers don't know about this, didn't they? You emailed Krystal-ssi on your own without telling them."

Mr. Park cleared his throat. Putting his hand on the table, he began to speak with a professional tone. "You see, Kai-ssi, I've worked here for a long time. Every single thing I did was for the best interest of our company- which includes you and your group too—"

"How does telling her to not clarify anything to the media is for the best interest of my group?" Jongin argued. "Are you trying to make it seems like we are really dating? What is your agenda here?"

Sehun nudged him slightly. Jongin ignored that.

Mr. Park didn't seem to be offended. "Well, if you put it that way then yes— I'm trying to make people speculate more on your relationship with her."

"Why?" Jongin asked. He didn't get why the PR Director of their agency feel the need to do this. "I'm not some rookie who needs dating rumors to make people see me. What you planned is unnecessary and you're toying with people's feeling."

Soojung's feeling, Jongin thought, recalling how she was practically confessed her heart out to him earlier that day.

"Toying with people's feeling?" Mr. Park laughed, almost mockingly. "It's not that serious, Kai-ssi. Besides, as I had said before, this is for your group too. EXO is scheduled to have a comeback this April, isn't it? On your seventeenth anniversary?"

"Yes, Sir," Sehun nodded. Jongin's eyes looked at the guy in front of him as if saying 'care to explain the correlation?'

"EXO's members have only been doing solo projects these past years following your group's hiatus. Some of you also had already married and have kids. Basically, nothing big was heard from your group and the people's interest on you had declined after years. If this continues, I'm afraid the album sales will not surpass the company's target."
