[a/n: Hi! I recommend you guys to re-read the previous chapters first to understand the context of this one - since I update this chapter too long you might forget the storyline :-( Anyways, enjoy!]

"She's keeping all of these... and for what?"

Jennie muttered that out loud as her hand reached one of the bottled wine Lisa kept on the upper cabinet.

Honestly speaking, she didn't take the younger woman to be a wine collector or even an expert at that (how can one be when the first thing she said after drinking a Beaujolais nouveau was, "...why is this thing tastes like grass?"). So these probably came as thank-you gifts from brands or people she worked with, and Lisa being Lisa, just chose to stash it on the kitchen cabinet.

Jennie was just reading the label on the bottle she held, when the bell suddenly rang. Who?

Putting it on the counter, she rushed to the front door- only to find Jongin (of course), smiling warmly at her, as she opened it.

She didn't know why she had to take a gulp. Nor why her heart beat so fast out of sudden.

"Hi," he said.

Just a simple greeting and he already made her stomach fluttered.

"Uh- hi," she muttered, mentally slapping herself for stuttering.

The back of his hand suddenly pressed against her forehead- seriously, though, he should stop doing that; being all casual with the skin ship while unknowingly making her heart went crazy.

"Your temperature is normal now, I think...," he said. Somehow, she felt small under his observing gaze, which was why she quickly broke the eye contact; throwing her gaze somewhere else.

"Why are you still up?" he asked her. "You should go to bed after this. Take some rest."

"I will," she replied briefly, before her eyes landed to the paper bag on his hand. "What's that?"

"Just some ice cream for Jinri," he said, shrugging casually. But the glint in his eyes told her that he was excited. "I don't really know which flavor she likes. So I just asked the employee who worked there which flavor most kids chose and-"

"She can't eat it."

Jongin immediately stopped, blinking his eyes several times before saying, "What?"

"She can't, uh, eat ice cream."

His mouth went open then shut, and then opened again to mutter, "But why?"

Jennie let out a quiet huff before she began. "Jinri is..." she bit her lower lip, "-unable to eat dairy products. Perhaps you've heard of lactose intolerance before?" she asked, her face turned into a grimace.

Jongin nodded absent-mindedly. He did hear about that, somewhere. Or at least those words weren't really unfamiliar to his ears.

"Well... that, is her condition. The pediatrician I talked to said that her stomach simply couldn't digest lactose and that's why she should avoid to consume any dairy products," she continued, eyeing the pint of ice cream on his hand. "And... you know, ice cream is one of them, aside from milk, cheese, yoghurt."

It didn't go unnoticed by her, the way the excitement in his eyes died down as she explained.

"But isn't she- I mean, her CF with Joohyun? Wasn't that for an ice cream product?" he asked her. "I saw her CF on TV yesterday - and I think there was a scene where she eats-"
