It's Tuesday morning and Jongin already left his bed ever since 5 am in the morning. He didn't know what happened to him but in the past ten years he never had a chance to really have a good sleep. His body felt tired but his mind kept searching for something and that made him restless. Four hours was the longest time he could stay asleep in bed — and that only happen after an extremely busy day.

He drank the remaining apple juice (his lack of sleep made him don't even touch coffee nowadays) and grab the car keys, leaving for his scheduled meeting at 10 am this morning.

He arrived at the main building of a national broadcasting station and got out of his car. Jongin tucked his beanie on his head and walked into the building, answering the passing people's greetings to him with a smile and simple nod. Life was so simple these days.

Finally he reached the particular meeting room manager hyung had told in his message yesterday. Unfortunately, the guy couldn't come to the meeting with Jongin today for some reasons. Being a senior idol, Jongin thought that he would be more than capable of handling a simple briefing meeting, therefore he told his manager to not send any other managers to accompany him.

Jongin knocked on the door and the person inside allowed him to enter. But before he could push it open, a small shout came from behind.

"Wait!"

Jongin turned his head and guess who he saw-, he sighed inwardly- thinking to himself, 'Not even 10 in the morning and yet another reminder of my past. The universe is at it again.'

He's so done at this point.

"Kai-ssi," Lisa bowed to him. "This is the X meeting room, right? Are you one of the mentors too?"

"Ne (right)..." Jongin answered absent-mindedly. He quickly snapped out of it and opened the door, letting the younger woman in to the room first. Gentlemen ethic.

There are already people who sat at the round table inside, but out of the four mentors who would be participating, only the two of them were there. Well, there's still a good fifteen minutes before the official hour of the meeting.

Jongin glanced at Lisa who sat across from him. She seemed mature now but somehow still have this childlike aura that made him feel like she's a little sister that he needs to protect.

'Does she know where Jennie is now?' A thought entered his mind. 'Hm, she surely is... Didn't Jennie once said her members told each other everything?'

Jongin remembered something then. It was a regular and normal Thursday night where they would spend a night at his place. Jongin could even vividly recalled that day he ordered some chickens and coaxed her so hard on eating those with him.

"Come on, some chicken won't hurt," he said pointing a drumstick right in front of her face.

Jennie looked like she was on the verge of giving up but still making an effort to refuse, "But I will have a comeback stage in two days..."

"In two days this chicken will no longer be in your body, Babe," Jongin facepalmed her. "Besides, I want you to eat properly. That's the reason why I brought you here, because I know the past weeks you've been working so hard and currently on diet because of the comeback, hm?"

Jennie still eyeing the chicken.

"Eat please," Jongin pleaded, trying his best to make her melt with his puppy eyes.

Jennie slapped his face playfully, "Alright, alright, I will have one."

"Two."

"Okay, two," Jennie pecked his cheek. "I'll have three even, only if you help me burn the calories after this."
