Where Isak met Even

Chapter 10

Even had gone to the library to study about 3 hours ago. It was Saturday and we had been invited to a party at Eva's house. It started in two hours. It was weird being in the apartment Even's dad had bought for him without Even. I'd love to say it felt like home, but I had never known what home felt like. Even's dad bought him this apartment to live in whenever he wanted to, and the fact that Even had just opened it up to me was nice. Thinking of Even reminded me to text him about the party.

We arrived at Eva's party holding hands. The music was very loud. When we walked in Chris was at the entrance. She narrowed her eyes and looked Even up and down. I laughed a little. "Chris, this is Even. I believe you've been expecting him.." Even looked confused but Chris looked like she was ready for war. "Good luck" I whispered to Even and went to find the boys. "Ayyy Isak you made it." Magnus yelled. We all did the bro greeting. Magnus offered me some beer when Jonas and Mahdi nudged him. "Oh sorry, I forgot you're not drinking when you're with Even..". "It's ok" I nodded. Even came up behind me and introduced himself as my boyfriend. I blushed. I knew were kinda dating but I hadn't really thought about it like that before. Jonas and Mahdi shook Even's hand, but Magnus went for a bear hug. We all laughed at Even hugged him back. 

At the end of the party Even and I went back to his apartment. I went to take a shower and I heard glass falling on the ground. I wrapped a towel around myself and went out to check what had happened. It was a bottle of beer. I cleaned up the glass while Even just stood there, looking sad and paralysed. "It's ok Even." I said after I had cleaned up "We just won't attend anymore drinking parties." He stared at me, "It's not..from the party." he said as he opened a mini fridge full of beers under his sink. "Oh, Even" I said as he started to cry..
