Arriving at school had never been so fun for me. When I walked up to Jonas and the others I was smiling from ear to ear. "Hm, what are you smiling about" Mahdi asked. My smile rubbed off on all of them "Nothing" I laughed. But it wasn't nothing. I was so excited for the party. "Oh, I brought the beers." I said pulling them out of my bag. "DUDE." Jonas whispered, "PUT THEM BACK IN YOUR BAG. THIS IS SCHOOL." I stuffed them back in bag. "Oops.." I said.

It was lunch and I still hadn't seen Even in the halls. So I decided to text him.

About that? I could feel my smile fading

About that? I could feel my smile fading. What did he mean?

I sighed quite loudly, and the boys looked at me confused

I sighed quite loudly, and the boys looked at me confused. "What's wrong?" Jonas asked. Even though I had only known these guys for a little bit, I still felt close to them. "Nothing" I said looking down. "Bro if anything's wrong, you can talk to us." Magnus said. "Yeahyeah, thanks." I laughed fake, "I'll keep that in mind." "Ok, but who's ready to party tonight?" Mahdi said smirking, looking all excited. "I AM!" Magnus said loudly, causing a scene in the middle of the cafeteria. Mahdi and I laughed, Jonas told Magnus to shush.

I ended school  later than the boys, so they waited for me at the bus stop. When I arrived we did the bro greeting and waited for the bus. In all my classes I was convincing myself that the party would be fun even without Even. I barely knew him but it felt like I had known him forever. The bus arrived, and we got on. Jonas's house was kind of far away. Mahdi and Magnus sat together and Jonas and I sat together. "You didn't look too happy today at lunch" Jonas said looking kind of worried. "I- I was just disappointed with today's lunch." I said laughing. "You'll get used to it" he said laughing too. When the bus finally stopped beside Jonas's house we got out and Magnus was jumping with excitement. We entered Jonas's house. "Are we home alone?" Mahdi asked. "Yeah. My parent's are working till way late." Jonas replied. My mood went down again. The last thing I wanted to talk about was parents. I took the beers out of my bag and handed out one to each of the boys. There was 2 hours for the party to start so we had some time to talk and sip our beers. When it was 6:30 pm we made our way to Eva's house. It wasn't that far so we walked.

The party ended around 1:30 am, and I was walking to the motel alone. I had only drank 2 beers, the pre party one included. When I arrived my mom had friends over. They were partying pretty hard, and I couldn't deal with it tonight. So I walked to town, my plan was to take a stroll around town until I felt like the party had ended. I walked to the town park. I could see a silhouette of someone sitting on a bench smoking. It was way too late for that person not to be dangerous, or suspicious at least. So I turned around.

What the hell?

I looked behind me and the silhouette on the bench waved at me. I walked towards it, it was Even. He was sitting there looking like he had just cried, smoking. "Hey.." I said kind of confused. I sat on the bench next to him. He didn't say anything. "What's wrong?" I asked, looking at him. He looked at me and said "Sonja and I broke up." "I'm so sorry. Are you ok?" Of course he wasn't ok. "No. Not really." he said looking down on the ground. "Did you guys fight?" I asked. "I told her I was bisexual." he answered. I was thrown back a little. "What, are you also going to stop talking to me because I'm bi?" he asked defensively. "What?" I exclaimed, "Of course not." He wiped his tears. "Why are you here anyway?" he changed the subject. "Long story" I said with a sad look on my face. He grabbed my face so we were facing each other. "I've got time" he said.
