Steve barely made the jump. They didn't have time to stare in awe at the fact that Steve Rogers successfully jumped over a chasm that was 15 feet wide, and they kept running. Steve slipped his arm under Bucky's so that Natasha wouldn't have to carry him anymore and they could move faster. They practically sprinted to an exit and there was a collective sigh of relief between the three of them once they got out.

"We need to get to the clearing," Steve muttered, trying to catch his breath. Natasha nodded, trying to do the same, when she saw something move out of the corner of her eye. There was still one truck left in front of the now destroyed building.

Natasha hurried to pick up a gun that she saw on the ground. She checked to make sure that it had ammo before creeping up to the truck.

"Nat? What are you--" she interrupted him with a look. He stopped talking and continued to stand with Bucky. Taking a deep breath, she crouched down and pointed her gun under the truck. She took one shot and heard a groan of pain from the other side. She smirked victoriously.

She took her time walking around the truck, knowing that the person on the other side wouldn't be able to go far after being shot in the leg. When he saw her, he tried to run. Fortunately, Steve had walked around the truck in the opposite direction and was positioned perfectly to stop him. The Hydra soldier almost ran into Steve and turned around only to run back into a smiling Natasha.

Steve didn't like the smile that she donned. It was malicious. She was going to enjoy whatever she did to this man.

Natasha saw the fear in the Hydra soldier's eyes and her smile grew. She shot him twice in his other leg causing him to fall to his knees, then kneed him in the face so he fell to the ground, unable to hold himself up any longer. She slowly placed a foot to his chest, relishing the feeling of power it gave her.

"Where are the weapons going?" She inquired in German, pressing down on his broken body. He didn't respond right away and she shot his leg again.

"Where are the weapons going?" Her voice was harder this time and her smile dropped. The German rolled off her tongue. If she was playing games before, she certainly wasn't now. Steve stared in horror at what she was doing. The Hydra soldier breathed heavily.

"I...I don't know," he stuttered. Natasha shot him again, this time in the arm. He groaned in pain.

"There's another base. I don't know where it is, but it's going there. They keep it off the papers," he admitted, grunting in pain as the pressure on his chest increased. Natasha's smirk came back.

"Thank you for your cooperation. Anything else you wanna tell me?" she asked, making a show of examining her gun. The guy knew exactly what was coming.

"Nein," he muttered. Natasha growled and shot him in the arm again. His scream was rather loud, and that was Steve's breaking point.

"Natasha, that's enough," he boomed. She looked up at him with defiance, but it went away when she saw the fear in his and Bucky's eyes. It was enough to break her out of her dark stupor and she staggered back. With a final look at the man, she closed her eyes and shot him in the head, killing him quickly.

"Let's go," she muttered softly.

Nobody said anything as they walked back, just trying to process what had happened. They made it back to the clearing as dawn broke, and that was when Bucky decided he didn't need help standing anymore.

"Do you still have your transmitter?" Steve asked Natasha in the clearing, holding up his damaged one. Natasha shook her head.

"I threw mine at Schmidt's head," she replied. "You were there."
