Dunno if you can read that, but it says my favorite songs, just for reference.

Also really in no particular order, but here we go. Instead of only doing ten, I'm gonna do fifteen for this because there are literally so many songs I love. I've characterized these by being songs that never get old, no matter how many times I hear them, they always hit just the same.

Let us begin!

꧁꧂

"I'm Looking Through You" by The Beatles ➪ Kicking off the list with my favorite song by my favorite band😌. This song is sooo underrated and I feel like people always dog on it because it's messy, but I think that that is all intentional. It's obviously about a very upsetting subject, and I think the whole messiness adds to the tone of the song. It's such a gorgeous song and I love Paul's vocals so much🥺. Just, appreciate it more because it deserves so much more recognition🤧🤧🤧

"Early Morning Cold Taxi" by The Who ➪ Obviously another of my favorite bands. This is literally the most random song ever, but it's literally so beautiful🥺🥺. I can always jam out to this number. It's just amazing overall. Not much else to it. Listen to it if you haven't already smh

"Slow it Down" by the Lumineers ➪ This is probably one of the most well-written songs I've ever heard in my entire life. It's one of those that just makes you slow down, close your eyes, and think. It's got a melancholy feel to it, and it leaves you wondering if it's a happy song or a sad one. It's genuinely one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, and I would really, really recommend it.

"Going to California" by Led Zeppelin ➪ This song is so beautiful. It's another one that just has such a melancholy feel to it. Between the beautiful acoustic guitar and Robert Plant's vocals, it always manages to hit you right in the heartstrings man🤧🤧 like, really. Chills, just thinking about it!

"My Generation" by The Who ➪ So gEnEriC, I know, but this is one of my favorite basslines ever. It always manages to put a smile on my face and I can never sit still when I'm listening to it. I'm either dancing around while my bearded dragon looks at me oddly, pretending to play bass with no bass, doing weird hand gestures, or pretending to drum with no drums😭😂. Like, it's sad, I know, but I just love this song so much🥺🥺

"If I Fell" by the Beatles ➪ A GORGEOUS SONG. Lennon-McCartney harmonies are my everything. This is such a well-written song, and the instrumentation is just stunning. It always bring tears to my eyes, man, it's just great. It is also one of my grandma's favorite, so maybe that just makes it a little more special🤧🤧

"Drops of Jupiter" by Train ➪ Ughhh, another amazing song. I love the instrumentation on this tune as well. The lyrics are so gorgeous. It's just one of those songs that you wish you wrote, y'know? It never gets old. I just love it so much.

"Good Times Bad Times" by Led Zeppelin ➪ BASS BASS BASS BASS BASS BASS. John Paul Jones is such a fantastic bassist, am I right?? This song really shows how great they are as a band, and it's the first song on their debut album! They definitely set some high standards there, and always lived up to it. It's just amazing. Nothing more.

"Spread Your Wings" by Queen ➪ A Deacy song🥺. John I believe is pretty underrated as a songwriter. Like, I swear, all of his songs are awesome. This one I'm particular I love because of the lyrics. It's about someone just branching out and doing what they love and it's just like *starts to cry* man dat just hits different. I love it so much.

"If It's Love" by Train ➪ A. BOP. Bro this song s l a p s. I remember loving this right off the back and sitting down to learn all of the lyrics because of how much I loved it. It's so upbeat and it just never gets old. Super underrated, too! Ugh, just listen to it. It's amazingggg.

"Sometime in the Morning" by the Monkees ➪ I actually didn't really like this song too much until pretty recently, but it's an amazing song, and when I sat down and really listened to the lyrics, I finally saw that. I've kept it on repeat a lot recently, and I mean, I'm pretty okay with that because it's awesome😂👍🏻

"Please Help Me, I'm Falling" by the Everly Brothers ➪ I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW I CAME ACROSS THIS SONG??? Like it came on one day and I was like wtf this is so good and then I started listening to the everlies more and slowly I was like omg I'm crying they're so good. I had been into them for a while, but this was the song that really sold me, y'know?🥺🥺🥺💞

"What Am I Doin' Hangin' Round?" by the Monkees ➪ If you can sit through this song without dancing, you're from another planet. It's just so upbeat and mikes vocals are just like 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤. It's an amazing song with amazing instrumentation and I would just really recommend it to literally everyone.

"You Take My Breath Away" by Queen ➪ Can I just...*moment of silence.* THIS SONG IS AMAZING. No one in my family likes it because of the opera style, but I think it is the most beautiful thing to grace this planet. Freddie's voice is truly a gift that we'll never get again. God, it brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it. It's just so beautiful.

"April/Salt and the Sea" by the Lumineers ➪ I always mention these songs together because that's when they're the strongest. These are the closing tracks on the III album, and they make it ten times better than it already was. "April" leads into "Salt and the Sea." It's about thirty seconds long, and it's a simple piano instrumental by the lovely Jeremiah Fraites. The Lumineers' piano parts are a bit strange. They use an old piano that's just slightly out of tune, and it gives it a haunting tone, and it speaks volumes. Jeremiah's piano bits are some of my favorite songs ever. "Salt and the Sea" is a beautiful, heartbreaking song.

I just...if you haven't listened to the Lumineers, do it! They're an amazing band and they don't get nearly as much recognition as they should🥺
