"Ichiru is becoming quite helpful, infiltrating the senate however they might discover him soon" I mumbled quietly to no one. My eyepatch had been discarded leaving my crimson eye exposed to the moonlight as was my mask. "Moon, moon will I soon join you in the night sky and be free or will I be caged on earth forevermore"

Suddenly the wind howled ominously, the trees swaying along as the clouds obscured the silver moon. The color drained from my face as dark a aura radiated all throughout before it dissipated without a trace. I placed a hand on my chest and gripped the fabric of my shirt, brows knitted together, and lips pulled into a thin line. Gleaming scarlet eyes gazed at the moon, a hint of hate swimming within them as Rin harshly whispered "It has been awakened"

"Is it wise to let her try and find out about her past, Papa" I narrowed my eyes at the wall behind him. He had called me into his office at broad day light, saying it was important. My eyes moved to his seated form. Face hardened and eyes swimming with authority he spoke "What else can I do? It would be suspicious of me to not let them both go through with this, even if Kaname becomes unhappy" She grimaced beneath her mask at the mention of the Pureblood's name. Blue iris boring into his chestnut colored eyes she sighed in defeat and lowered her eye. "I see then it can't be stopped still let us hope that it doesn't bring her more trouble" her passive and empty tone sent him a hint that she had lost interest. And so Kaien dismissed her with a cheery aura and large hug.

When the soft 'click' of the door filled the office his face morphed into a sorrow filled scowl and he sadly gazed out of the window. "Haruka, Juri you have damaged her too much and continue to do so even in death. What an awful thing to do to your own child"

....MOMENTS LATER...

'Why do I have to go?' he peered back at me over his shoulder his lip twitching. "You don't have much of a choice" Yagari's hand held the back of her collar in a tight grip and thus Rin was being dragged behind him. 'Truly I don't'

"Why are you two following us around this isn't some parent teacher conference and why the hell is he here" Zero hissed comically pointing at the two adults before his eyes regard the body of the girl being helplessly dragged behind his teacher. 'I was dragged into this' Rin replied bluntly. His lavender eyes squinted in anger and he took a menacing step towards Rin.

"We were just worried about you both, isn't that right?" Kaien interrupted his fatherly voice blowing away the tense atmosphere. He 'hmphed' and turned away

"What is the real reason for you to be here?" Yagari took a puff from his cigar before responding "I am simply here to snoop around and find out what the association is up to.." a cloaked figure walked past them, a gun strapped to their shoulder. 'I hate this place, in every corner there are ears' A hint of annoyance resonated in Rin's voice as she gave her opinion of the town. "The locals are either vampire hunters or those working for the association" Kaien stated his eyes surveyed the area before returning forward. "We should catch up to the two" They walked for a couple of more minutes before Kaien made them stop in the doorway of a building. "This are the headquarters of the Vampire Hunter's Association" the air seemed tense and unwelcoming, the very few hunters that lay inside cast their gazes to the five except for the fact that their main focus were Zero and Rin; who managed to pry her masters hand off and walked beside Kaien.

I could sense Yuki's unease at the stare she believed were directed to her, without a care I placed my hand on her shoulder. Russet-brown eyes turned to me; confusion clear in her expression. 'They aren't looking at you, don't be so tense' The sound of teeth grinding together made me remove my hand, lavender eyes glared at me. "Stop it you two" turning away from me Zero sped up his pace, his hands clenched by his side. How childish and uncalled for.
