"You can come out, Kiryu-san" the tapping of shoes was heard before a male figure appeared. He was an exact replica of Zero only that his hair was long, and his eyes seemed smaller and sharper. "Ichiru!!" Maria ran forward and threw her arms around his waist, smiling happily up at him. Placing his hand on her hair he smiled, "Maria-' turning his attention to me his eyes softened '-and Rin" Maria curiously looked between us both feeling the heavy atmosphere that began to crawl in as we continued our staring contest.
"I've come here to pledge my loyalty to you, Rin Cross" he abruptly spoke up before going down on one knee and placing his right hand over his heart. "As Shizuka's child I am to protect you, that is her request and now my duty. Only if you wish it to be" her eyes analyzed the boy; two empty pools-of blood and the sea.
"Is this what you want to do? To serve me like a dog?" his lavender eyes came to meet hers. "Yes" he confidently stated. "I wish to protect you from any harm, serve you in any way you ask me to and get to know you. Shizuka loved you quite dearly and I wish to find out why...because I myself fell in love with the daughter she spoke of so fondly, I myself felt the urge to search for her to protect her as much as Lady Shizuka sought to do so" a soothing coolness spread to his cheek as her small and calloused hand met his skin.
I gazed down at him softly, eyes warming up and becoming pools of emotions and soon tears spilled; each drop traveling down my cheeks and landing on his. "As my personal servant you are now allowed to see me in my most vulnerable state, you can stand up to me, advise me and be by my side unless instructed otherwise. I take you under my wing, Ichiru Kiryu" "Of course m'lady"
Mismatched eyes snapped open. Hand unconsciously reaching for the now empty spot next to her. Sighing quietly, she rose from her bed and stretched out. Hissing at the minor throb from her once wounded spot, finger pads came to caress the unmarked skin to ease the ache. "May my blood bring your downfall, Kaname" her curtains fought against the rays of sunlight, few getting through and illuminating the room. Eyes squinting at the brightness Rin fell back on her bed. "Still morning, exchange is still far off...I need more rest*yawn* wonder how Zero is..." exhaustion took over and she fell asleep again.
A darkness seeped into the room, the corners growing darker as the black masses spread about shrouding the room. It pooled around Rin's form, strands coming to form a tentacle. Shifting into a more comfortable position the shadows waited before covering her torso. A pleased sigh left her lips at the sudden warmth enticing her to fall deeper into her slumber. A quiet whisper left her lips stirring up the shadows as they chortled happily.

" I wouldn't mind cutting it but..." "You look better with long hair, it can be your unique feature". "-Someone special said I look good with it" one of the girls that surrounded him shyly raised her hand. His lavender eyes moved to her, in silent permission. "Is it perhaps...Rin, you're the one that hugged him right?" feigning shock Ichiru chuckled lowly. "I am but due to some business I had to deal with I left" he responded with a closed eyed smile.
"Are you and Rin close? Is it similar to how him and Zero ar-" "Don't be silly those two haven't been the same as of lately-" "Yeah they haven't been together as often as they were" "Truly it was Zero that followed after Rin, gave us no opportunity to talk to him"
The classroom door opened slowly, the girls talking dying down as a menacing aura flowed in. Lavender eyes locked with one another, one glaring and the other nonchalant. Standing up from his seat and excusing himself Ichiru walked down to meet his twin.
"If you came for revenge why don't you take it now?" "And here I thought that you let me transfer here to comfort your younger brother but, I guess not" Ichiru smiled slyly, eyes twinkling with mischief. "Besides revenge isn't the reason why I'm here-" his hand came to rest on Zero's shoulder "-I am also here to be with Rin, she is now my new master and I her loyal servant" those words struck Zero, his blood running cold. "You're her dog...how low"
Laughing at his brother Ichiru walked past him, taking confident strides at the thought of Zero's reaction. "I want to know what it is like to live like a normal high school boy...can't let you have all the fun" Zero's eyes watched his brother walk away. "Take care of her...the way I couldn't..."
Lavender eyes gleamed with malice, "I'll do better than you" he whispered high enough for Zero to hear. I won't betray her and choose anyone or anything but her and her plans.... He clenched his hand at his last thought. "I will even give up on my plans for her....she is now my master and I her faithful dog"

"This night feels so calm and refreshing" I breathed in the breeze cannily. The chill of the night helped to ease my nerves and weariness of the prior night. "They do say that the nighttime is for vampires" my eyes moved away from the scenery to glance at him. Amusement danced in his lavender eyes, as he chuckled lowly at his remark. "Well we deserve to have it, we ourselves are feeble creatures, a monster hides under our skin and so our reward for this 'suffering' is the glamorous nighttime" my hand reached out to the sky, fingers closing as if trapping a star. "To me it seems that way" I jumped to stand at the edge of the building and looked down at him.
He opened his mouth ready to retort and make fun of her. Faltering as he watched her eyes gloss over and body sway. He hastily caught her as she fell forward. "What did you say -'I'm fine', was it?" he mocked while poking her cheek. "Guess he took more than I expected, I will go hunting tomorrow to replenish" hands curled into fists at her uncaring attitude. "You shouldn't push yourself, if you need blood I can give provide you with it, don't hesitate to ask me" he proclaimed in resentment.
"I will not take any of your blood, you know of what would happen if I did. Furthermore it is forbidden to drink human blood on campus, I do appreciate your concern and willingness to help me but...I know what I'm doing so don't throw yourself away so quickly" Rin scolded him, voice carrying a displeased and disappointed tone. "I am to look after you, I am your tool and toy to play and use as you please. Your well being comes first as does your wishes, I am to-"his head swiveled to the side as a loud echo resonated through the air. Eyes blown wide in disbelief and shock; his hand came to rest on the reddening skin as he faced her again.
The air around her was thick, a purple aura emitting from her as an invisible pressure pressed down on him. "I told you before, I want you by my side forever. You are my knight, my guardian and I would have no one else but you, how can that be if you die so early. Have more self-perseverance, I want my 'dog' to be healthy and able so he can keep walking with me" grasping his chin between her thumb and pointer finger she raised his head. Cobalt iris gazed at him sternly "I need my knight to be able to fend off the monster that may come, will you be strong enough if you throw away yourself for any small thing?" he slowly shook his head. "Good now come on, we have a school to guard"
