Amery's Pov's
"So pre? Are you sure about your decision?" asked the familiar voice from behind the meeting room.
Actually, I arrived earlier because Sir Sungit had somewhere to go, so here I am, standing near the meeting room where the man with the familiar voice is talking. I think it's Bebe Darren.
"Yes, that’s my decision," came the response.
"So... good luck when he finds out about your plans for him," said the other person.
"Tsk! Whatever... I have to go," the familiar voice replied, followed by the sound of footsteps in high heels.
Who were they talking about? Hmmm...
I took a deep breath, then walked in with a mischievous air, entering the meeting room. Just as I was about to step inside, someone grabbed my arm. "Hey? Are you Ms. Amery Wiscon?" they asked. Wait, this is the same person who was talking to the familiar voice earlier.
"Yes, that’s me. Why?" I asked.
"Ah, nothing," was the only response before they let go of my arm. Why did they ask that?
I just shrugged it off and walked into the meeting room, heading straight for my seat next to Sir Sungit.
I noticed Darren was staring at me, sitting across from me. He smiled sweetly, then quickly turned his attention to the laptop in front of him. He's so cute when he smiles, especially with those dimples… yay!
A few minutes later, the high-ranking officials from Sir Sungit's company entered the room.
The last to come in was Sir Sungit himself, still wearing that stern look with no smile in sight. His hands shoved into his pockets, he walked straight to the seat beside me.
I wish Darren was sitting next to me instead... -_-
"Good afternoon," greeted Sir Alexander Dior—Sir Sungit's father. We all quickly stood up and greeted him back. Why is that? His father always smiles, while Sir Sungit doesn’t? Why is that?
"Thank you... have a seat," Sir Alexander said, and we all sat down. We also had some elderly Japanese guests with us, and I think they own their own company.
Several hours passed, and here I am, still sitting and listening to the man standing in front of us, talking like a teacher.
I was so bored and almost falling asleep, struggling to understand everything he was saying. I couldn’t afford to fall asleep though, as it was my job to assist Sir Sungit with whatever he needed.
Finally, the discussion ended. They all stood up, shook hands, and started chatting, but I couldn’t understand the Japanese they were speaking.
Sir Sungit stood up, and I followed him, wondering where he was going… maybe to his ex? Just kidding.

**Later...**
I smiled when I stepped out onto the balcony and was greeted by the sunset. Since I wanted to swim, I quickly changed into my swimsuit and left my room.
As soon as I stepped outside, I was surprised to find that the place was empty. It was just me. I began walking toward the sand.
When I got there, I immediately sat down to feel the breeze. It was fresh and scentless.
After a while, I felt someone hug me from behind. I smiled at the unexpected moment because I knew it was him.
"Miss me, baby?" he whispered softly in my ear. I held his arm.
"Yes, I miss you, baby," I replied. He released his hug, sat next to me, and then placed his arm around my shoulder.
"The sunset is really beautiful... just like you," he said, making me smile even more.
"Hay naku, bolarelo ka talaga," I teased, lightly hitting his arm.
While we were sitting there, suddenly, I heard a song start playing—its title was "Kalawakan."
I smiled again when Darren rested his head on my shoulder, removing his arm from around me. I rested my head on his.

The song was so pleasant to hear with the person you love next to you. But the question is, is he the one for me?
"Cold is the wind on my skin,
But it’s nothing compared to the warmth of what I feel
Every time we’re in separate worlds."
I lifted my head off Darren’s as I heard his voice singing.
"You can sing?" I asked, laughing.
"Sing with me so it’ll be more fun," he said, lifting his head from my shoulder.
"One look at the moon, and I’m closer to you
The sky smiles, waiting for the moment
The whole world is excited for our kiss," he sang.
I followed the lyrics, singing with him.

"Your voice is probably nicer," I replied, and we continued singing until the sun fully set.
I rested my head on his shoulder, and he put his arm around me. "I love you, Angel."
I was a little surprised at his whisper. "Where is my 'I love you too'?" he asked, pouting. Damn, I’m really feeling the kilig!
"I—" I was cut off when a familiar voice spoke from behind us.
"Ms. Amery Wiscon? What are you doing with my brother?" he coldly said.
We quickly stood up, and my heart almost skipped a beat. "Ah, Sir? I—I’m just..." I got cut off again when Darren spoke first.
"Why, brother? I was just keeping her company—"
"I'm not asking you, Darren... Ms. Amery Wiscon, go back to your room now!" Sir Clark coldly ordered.
I quickly excused myself from Darren and headed back into the house.
