A few more days had passed and it was pretty clear, K.C had blew Brantley's bet out of the water as they all headed into the gym. To say John and K.C were excited was a bit of a understatement. They'd even drug Luke, Jason, Justin, Cole and Thomas a long, who all almost immidiatly went for the treadmills. Brantley, Thorne and Mars headed for the benches while K.C, John and Luna went for the boxing ring. "Babe, you sure you're good?" Brantley looked on from his spot with concern as her and John faced each other. "Bout to find out." She swung at the former Seal, who ducked and came back with his own, missing as well. The swings turned into fast paced leg sweeps and arm blocks. K.C finally bounced off the ropes, jumping up and swinging her legs around John's neck, spinning around and catching him in an arm bar mid hurricarana. Roaring in pain, he wouldn't give up that easily as everyone looked on in amazement while he flipped the redhead, slamming her on the mat before she nipped up and swung on him. Instead of a fight, it looked more graceful, like dancing. They knew each others moves, making everything flow. Everyone was in awe as they watched. It was like K.C hadn't even been shot or stabbed. They went on sparring for awhile longer before John stepped out and Luna took his place.

They did the same for awhile before finally getting out and joining the guys on the bench presses and everyone went about their business. "So K, how long you guys goin on vacation for?" Mars questioned as he spotted Brantley on the bench. Jumping up and grabbing the pull up bar, the girl made it look slap easy. "I dunno. That wasn't part of the plan. Just goin' and gettin' away from it all for awhile." He nodded, "You deserve it." She smiled smally as she continued her pull ups. She was making it damn hard for Brantley to keep his focus when he could see every muscle flexing, glistening with sweat and all her tattoos. Wasn't it supposed to be the other way around? "Aight BG, focus dawg." Mars was trying not to laugh as he lifted his weights. Brantley smirked, "She's a hell of a lot better to look at than you dude." the singer joked, "Yeah, cuz your balls so close to my face is fuckin awesome." Mars quipped and they both laughed.

"Alright, lets get outta here before we draw a crowd." They all agreed with Luke and gathered their things, heading outside to say goodbye to K.C and Brantley. She hugged Luke, Jason, Justin and Thomas, who all ended up being slightly emotional and trying to joke it off. Luna, Mars and Thorne came next, all of them telling her to hurry back. John however, latched her into a bear hug, making her laugh. "Have fun sis, you deserve it." He pulled back and smiled when he saw hers. "Be here when I get back, okay?" He nodded and kissed her cheek, letting her go and shaking hands with Brantley, "I know she was your best friend first, but take care of my sis dude." Brantley nodded understandingly while they shook hands before they hopped in the truck and were gone.

Finally back in Georgia, Brantley and K.C pulled up to the house and quickly went inside. Packing their things, Brantley looked over to see K.C already done, one bag. He laughed and looked down at his two that were filled to the brim. "This is supposed to be the other way around." He gestured between their stuff, making her laugh too. "It's habit. Shut up."  He stepped over and wrapped her up close to him, smiling when she did and kissed her nose. "I don't think we're gunna know what to do with a bunch of free time." Brantley just wiggled his eyebrows and made her laugh again. "Relax. Do nothing. You actually get to see all these places without having to work. Enjoy them babe, I want you to smile the whole time." She scoffed with a smile, "What happened at your parents was a tiny glimpse at what I've done Brantley. I don't know how to relax. Neither do you." He rolled his eyes with a smirk as he stepped back and grabbed his guitar. "You know, I never got to play you what I wrote." She raised an eyebrow as he sat down and started to play "That Was Us" and K.C couldn't help but smile at the memories he'd thrown in. They'd been wild and crazy and nuthin but trouble, now here they were, being unleashed together on the world. He finished up and looked at her, he couldn't understand why he hadn't made her his girl all those years ago, why he gave in so late. She'd waited so long for him, he owed her everything. "Just a heads up, the entire album is about you." Brantley noticed her blush, something that rarely happened. He stood back up and grabbed her face, "I got no idea what I did to deserve you, but I promise, I'll do whatever it takes to keep you." "You're not the horrible person you think you are BG. Yeah, you've been a douche bag, but you're definitely not a person who doesn't deserve something good." Brantley smirked, "You should kinda give yourself a similar speech baby. I'm glad you came out of your funk. I hate depressed K.C, she's a bitch." K.C laughed and swatted his chest, "Well, then I guess we do deserve each other. I keep you in line, and you bring me back." Brantley just smiled and kissed her again, his hands roaming to her hips and pulling her closer. "Wouldn't want it any other way darlin. Now, let's go get drunk in weird places." He winked and she mock fainted, "Oh god, I thought you'd never say those words to me." she spoke dramatically as he grabbed some bags and laughed, leaning to kiss her again before she headed around the house, locking everything up. If you would've told her a year ago that all this would happen, she'd have probably laughed in your face. Everything with Brantley especially, who knew he'd felt the same way the whole time? K.C watched him concentrate on the road with a small smile before grabbing his hand with a wink. He smiled, picking it up and kissing the top gently, "Thanks for comin back to me baby." She smiled back, "Thanks for givin me somethin to come back to.."
