"Mountain"

Everyone knew that Evan Hansen's second favourite thing was being outside in nature. He loved plants and climbing trees and going on hikes. His first favourite thing was his boyfriend, Jared. So, as you can imagine, when the two were combined Evan was even happier.

Jared, on the other hand, preferred to stay *inside* where it was warm.
The only problem was that he couldn't say 'no' to anything Evan asked him to do.

So now, here he was, climbing a freaking mountain.

"Evan..." He gasped, "I can't.."
"Jared, I swear If you complain *one* more time we are turning around and going home,"
"YES, PLEASE THAT'S WHAT I WANT!"
"Never mind then, we're going to the top if you complain one more time,"
"Nooo..." He sat down on the ground, not caring if he got dirty. "I can't breath,"
"Jared, we've only been walking for half an hour,"
"EXACTLY!"
"It was flat ground until five minutes ago,"
Jared was lying on his back now, still panting.
"It hurts..." He complained.
Evan sighed and crouched down next to him. "What hurts, Jared?"
"Right here," He put his hand on his waist.
"You have a stitch?"
"Oh yeah, I get those in sport class all the time,"
"Get up, we're nearly there,"
"Noo... let me lie here and die,"
"Jared... are you really that out of shape?"
"Yes,"
Evan laughed. "Really?" He helped Jared to his feet.
"Don't you dare laugh at me,"
"You can't even walk up a hill?"
"This is not a hill, Evan, it's fucking mount Everest,"
Evan handed him a drink bottle. "It's a hill, babe,"
"Ok, listen..." Jared took a drink of water. "My body is built for cuddling, not exercise,"
Evan laughed. "I can tell,"
"What's that supposed to mean, Hansen?"
"You're dying on the floor after a short walk!"
"It's uphill!"
"Bye," He kept walking along the track.
"Where are you going?"
He kept walking.
"Evan? The car's this way,"
"I'm not going to the car,"
"EVANNN!" Jared sat on the ground again.
"WHAAAT?" He copied Jared's tone.
"I want to go home,"
Evan groaned. "Fiiinnee..."
"Finally,"
"If I hear you complain *once* on the way down I'm leaving without you,"
"Haha jokes on you, I drove,"
"I know how to drive,"
"Evan... Evan Hansen, you better wait for me!"
"Not a chance, walk faster,"

"I hate hiking..."
