Jacket

Michael sipped his hot chocolate. He looked across the small table at Jeremy and smiled. He'd let Michael do his makeup this morning. Of course, Michael had made him look even more adorable than usual. He had given him light blue eyeshadow and used lots of bush and glitter. He'd even drawn freckles on his cheeks and nose. His makeup matched his outfit. Light blue shirt (with a rainbow on it) and tan jeans. Michael had tried to get him to wear a skirt, but Jeremy didn't want to. He said he'd look like Gretchen from mean girls if he did. Especially after Michael had curled his hair.

Michael looked like the exact opposite of Jeremy. He was wearing all black. Black jeans, black shirt, black leather jacket, he'd even painted his nails black. Except for his middle fingers, those were painted with rainbow stripes. Even his eyeshadow was black. He was feeling emo today. Either way, he looked very different next to Jeremy.

They were sitting in a café, drinking hot chocolate and eating cupcakes. It was warm inside, so Michael had taken off his jacket. There was no need for leather jackets indoors. Jeremy watched as Michael turned his napkin into an origami butterfly. He held out the butterfly. "For you,"

"Michael you wiped your mouth on that, I don't want it,"

He pouted. "But I made it just for you..."

Jeremy shook his head but put the butterfly in his backpack carefully.

"You have something on your..." Michael leaned across the table to wipe some frosting off Jeremy's mouth. "Here,"

"Thanks,"

Michael laughed. "Finish your hot chocolate, there's a bookshop around the corner I want to go to,"

Jeremy started to chug his hot chocolate.

"Woah, Woah, not that fast, baby," Michael reached across the table and pulled Jeremy's cup away from him. "I don't want you to make yourself sick,"

"Fine..." Jeremy finished his drink (more carefully now) and stood up. Michael followed, pulling on his jacket and wrapping his arm around Jeremy's waist. They left the café and Jeremy instantly shivered.

"I told you to bring a jacket," Michael laughed.

"I'm not cold," Jeremy shivered again and moved closer to Michael.

"Sureee..."

"How far away is the bookshop?"

"Not too far. Are you sure you're not cold?"

"I'm fine, Michael,"

"Mmm... whatever you say," Michael took his jacket off and draped it over Jeremy's shoulders.

He brought the collar up to his nose to smell it. "You smell nice, Michael,"

"I know," He laughed. "You got me that perfume,"

"I did?"

Michael nodded. "And I use it every day,"

Jeremy moved closer to Michael again. He really did smell nice.

Michael grinned. Jeremy was trying to smell him. They reached the bookshop. It was warm inside. Jeremy tried to give Michael his jacket back.

"No, you keep it," He said. "You're cute in it,"

Jeremy smiled. He grabbed Michael's hand and pulled him over to look at books together.
