Chapter 41

Sam's POV

I'm so frustrated right now! Argh! Bakit ba kasi hindi pa siya nagparamdam? Ni text o tawag man lang hindi niya ginawa. Wala naman kaming problema ah?

"Alexa!" I shouted in my secretary.

"Ma'am?!" Nagmamadaling sabi niya.

"Schedule?" I said. Bahala na nga siya sa buhay niya.

"You have a meeting with the Engineer's later. 2 PM!" Sabi niya sakin. Napahilot ako sa sentido ng may naka schedule pala akong meeting mamaya sa mga engineer's. I hope wala siya mamaya dun at baka mabato ko lang sa kaniya kung anong mahawakan ko. Hindi man lang siya nagparamdam sakin simula kagabi.

Nag sent ako ng e-mail sa mga board of directors para sa project namin. Ginugol ko nalang ang oras ko dun at hindi na muna iniisip ang lintek na Lucas na yun. Tsk!

"Ma'am.. Lunch!" Sabi ng sekretarya ko. She already know my meal.

I eat my lunch, I stared at my watch. It's already 1 PM, I need to eat my lunch already to prepare for the meeting. Pagkatapos kung kumain ay nagre-touch lang ako ng konti at tumayo na ako. Umakyat na ako sa conference room with my secretary beside me. As I stepped on the conference room, everyone silent. Simula ng nakalabas ako sa hospital ngayon palang ang unang meeting ko with the engineer's na gumagawa ng hotel namin.

I didn't see Lucas here, where the hell is he? He's the head engineer here! Fuck! He making me crazy.

"Where is your head engineer?" I strictly asked.

"He just told me to present this to y-you Ma'am!" Engineer Pascua said. I sighed.

"Start!" Sabi ko. Pero hindi ako makapag focus sa sinasabi niya dahil lumilipad ang utak ko sa lalaking yon.

"Okay ba ang budget sayo, Ma'am?" Tanong ni Engineer Pascua sakin. I just get back to my senses when he asked.

"Y-Yeah, t-that's fine.." I said. He just nod. Nagdistribute na si Alexa ng snacks at fruits lang ang nilapag sakin.

"Take a break! Everyone. Please eat your snacks." Sabi ko at para silang iniwan ng teacher saglit dahil kaniya-kaniya ng pag-uusap.

Pagkatapos naming kumain ng snacks namin ay nagpatuloy na kami sa pagdiscuss ng ilang kailangan gawin sa Hotel at ang mga materyales na kailangang gamitin.

"Kaya po malaki ang budget natin sa mga materials para po hindi madaling magiba yung hotel.. And Engineer Saavedra took care of that, Ma'am!" Sabi ni Engineer Pascua. I nod. I played with my ballpen the whole presentation.

"That's all, the meeting adjourned." I said and get my things before leaving the conference room.

"Alexa, in the office." I said and went to my office directly. Sumunod naman si Alexa sakin.

"Is there a schedule?"

"Bukas pa po, ang next meeting niyo Ma'am!" Sabi ni Alexa habang tiningnan ang notebook niya. Kung saan niya nilalagay ang mga meeting ko.

"You'll be meeting with the new investors, and someone will order us a wine!" She said jolly.

"What time?" I said while I was scrolling in my instagram. I don't have  works to do anymore, baka nga maaga akong uuwi ngayon.

"3 PM with the investors at Cucina Higala, and 5 PM with Mr. Hellion at the Ultra Winds." My secretary said. What the fuck?! Ultra Winds? Ang layo naman. But it's fine, though.

"You can leave.." I said to my secretary. She nod and go out to my office. I take a picture of myself and posted it in my instagram stories with a caption of 'I'm bored, someone can have dinner to me?' Hell! I don't care if Lucas sees this. He didn't text me yet.

"OMG! Sam!" I automatically gaze with  Amanda who's shouting.

"What? Why are you shouting?" I said a little bit irritated. Is it important to shout when you get in? My goodness!

"Come, you don't have work right?"

"Wala na naman, why?" Kumunot ang noo ko. I see happiness with her smile. Oh okay? What's with her smile? She looks happy. Well!

"Basta, Come here!" She drags me out of my table. Kinuha ko muna ang bag ko at tsaka nag pahila sa babaeng to? I just wear a black body con dress. And I don't where she will drag me.

"Where are we going ba?" Nagiging conyo na tuloy ako. Ano ba yan! Bigla-bigla nalang susulpot sa opisina ko at bigla akong hahatakin.

"You'll see!" She giggled. I heavily sighed.

I opened the shotgun seat and she opened the driver seat. We just used her pink mustang, so girly! I just didn't mind where the hell we where going. It's getting darker already, I checked my wrist watch and it's already 7 PM.

We arrived in a beach, wait what?! A beach?! Ano? Maliligo kami dito? Oh my god. I didn't bring extra shirt, I didn't know that we're going in a beach. And I don't want to swim this late either. Baka may shokoy dyan oy! Wag nalang.

"What are we doing here? I don't want to swim this late." I said to her. She just giggled. Lumabas kaming dalawa sa sasakyan niya. And Amanda was still smiling that nothing happens, is there something wrong?

"Hey, talk to me." I said. A bit irritated.

"Just always remember that, I'm happy for you okay?" She smiled to me, a tear was almost pool in her eyes but she just chuckled and look at the sky. There are so many stars in the sky, even though I'm confused. I'm staring at the sky smiling. Nabalik lang ang atensyon ko ng hawakan ako ni Amanda sa braso.

"What's wrong, Amanda? Is there something wrong? I'm starting to get worried!" I said. We're heading to the entrance of the beach. I read the name 'JASPER BEACH' it's familiar for me but I really not going here. It's just my first time going here.

"Nah! Nothing, I was just happy for you." Hindi ko nalang siya pinansin at nagpahila nalang ako sa kaniya. There are no people in here, masyadong tahimik. As we walking my eyes seattled on the right side of the beach, I saw my family and the gang with there wife's in their girlfriends. I even saw my niece, Adrielle was standing beside his father, while Ate Johanna carrying nathalia with her arms. I smiled at the scene, they were smiling at me.

My tears slowly pool down in my eyes, As I look at the man who's standing with a candle around him it was form a heart. I smiled at the thought, he looks so handsome with his jeans and polo shirt with his penny loafer shoes. I didn't know that I'm infront of him, he smiled to me. I almost forgot that he didn't text or even call me!

Hinampas ko ang dibdib niya. "Bakit hindi ka nagparamdam, huh?" Sabi ko sa kaniya habang hinahampas ko parin siya. My tears is still falling in my eyes.

"Hey, I'm sorry okay?" He said and kiss my forehead. I closed my eyes and feel his embrace.

I know that we've been through a lot, hindi naging madali pero alam kung may dahilan ang lahat. I thought that he really cheat on me but I was wrong, I made myself hate him.

"Why didn't you text me? Or even calling me?" I said. Frustrated.

"I'm busy preparing this." Sabi niya habang tinuro ang isang table na may candle sa gitna at may boquet of flower sa lamesa. May dalawa ring chair na magkaharap. Napalibotan rin kami ng mga maliliit na candles. It was form of a heart shape.

He held my hand and guide me in the table. I also see my family and his family who's talking in the other side, they're happily talking to each other. There was a long table with a food.
