I strap on some armored boots and tie up my hair. I put on the rest of my plated cloths and walk out of my room. It's been two weeks and a small group of us are going tonight to scout the academy. I join the group of chosen spies all wearing the same black plated clothing. Some are scared of me, some hate me, and some have accepted me. Rowan walks into the room and sits down at the small table. I have come to the conclusion his eyes never will stop glowing.
"We go in through the window and to Bears room. We grab her and get out. You two will stay guard at the window, you five will knock out the guards, and me and Kiara will find Bear." Everyone nods their heads and we rush out of the room into the hallway and into the night.

We slowly and quietly climb up the wall on the Academy to the window. We are still wet from trading across the lake. We get up to the window but it has bars now. We carefully pick at the nails until the bars go crashing down into the water. We all crawl in. The two guys meant to stay out at the window stay back as we go into the dining hall. The five of the other men go out but we don't hear the signal whistle. A guy walks back in.
"There are too many, we need another person." He says. Rowan grunts and turns to me.
"Kiara... I'm trusting you." I nod at him and he goes out into the hall. There is a little bit of rustling but then I hear the whistle. I sprint down the halls towards my quarters. I turn the corner around and see the door. I rush in and go into Bears room. She's sleeping there peacefully. I go over and shake her gently. She immediately sits up and pins me on the floor. She puts her hands around my neck and I struggle to breath. I grab her hands and pull them off me.
"Bear it's me! Is Kiara!" I whisper.
"Intruder!" Bear yells as loud as she can. I put my hand over her mouth.
"Bear it's me!" I say a bit louder now. She bites my hand and pins me face down on the floor.
"Intruder!" She screams and I hear footsteps down the hall.
"Bear what the hell!" I yell.
"Don't call me that you traitor!" She forces her elbow into my back. The footsteps get closer and I look up to see Rowan enter the room.
"Bear what are you doing?" He says pushing her off me.
"Intruders!" She screams again. This time real guard footsteps start to sound in the distance. I get up feeling the bruises around my neck.
"Bear we are taking you home!" Rowan says walking towards her. The glow of his eyes lighting up the room. She tries to tackle him but he pushes her off. He grabs her and we start to run down the halls. We meet guards in the middle of the halls and Rowan throws Bear at me. I hold her still as she thrashes in my arms screaming. Rowan takes out the three guards and we start running again. We get to the dinning hall doors when more guards show up. We rush through to the window where the rest of the group is waiting. Everyone jumps out of the window with a dive. I try to jump out with Bear but she kicks me off without her.
"No-!" I scream as I hit the water. Suddenly I see her jump down at me. It's like she isn't scared anymore. Her eyes shine bright blue as she grabs a hold of my neck. She forces me under water and I hold my breath. I try to kick her off or at least get my head up for air but it's not use. I pick up a rock from the bottom of the lake and hit her arm with it. She pulls back and I sit up gasping for air. One of the guys form the window rushes over to help but she goes for him next. I feel strong arms tear me away from the academy.
"No! We can't leave him!" I say trying to pull away from Rowan. Some guards start to jump down from the window and the guy goes limp in Bears arm. She killed him... Bear killed him...

"What did they do to her!?!" Rowan yells at me, pacing back in forth in some room he took me too. It's dark with one lantern resting on a table with a few chairs surrounding it.
"I don't know, the closer you get to graduation the more they demand respect." I say grabbing my hair and slicking it back over and over again, I'm hot and sweaty and the hair in my face isn't helping. My throat still burns from a few hours ago and her nail marks in the back barley stopped bleeding a few minutes ago.
"You said she was fine, how did she become so..." Rowan struggles to finds the words, "corrupted in a few weeks!" He slams his fist on the table.
"I already told you I don't know!" I yell standing up. He glares at me with his blue glowing eyes. I want to glow my eyes but I have to many emotions running through my head, fuck emotions.
"She jumped down from a window!" He points at me, "She doesn't do that! She would never!" His voice shakes the room.
"This isn't what we should be focused on! The academy knows there is a resistance now!" I yell at him. His angered face turns to worry as he realizes.
"It was supposed to be a stealth mission." He grunts looking away.
"She graduates in two weeks, and she's a blue so she will work for the academy. The best chance we have is capturing her on a break day." I explain.
"Well when are break days?" He asks me.
"Tuesday's." I answer. He grunts and punches a hole into a brick wall.
"Didn't you say she would be held back?" He asks.
"Well now that I see how obedient she is, I doubt they will." I say. He sighs and sits down.
"Leave me." He says. I get up and leave the room.
