"I know this is your fault!" Garret walks up to me as I sit in my room and draw.
"Huh?" I say looking up.
"You're the reason she's leaving me! What did you tell her!" He yells at me and his eyes turn blue.
"Wait what?" I ask backing away a little bit.
"Garret!" I hear Bear yell from outside of the room. She walks over with an angered look in her eyes.
"I'm better than her!" Garret yells turning to her.
"Get. Out. Now." She demands. Garret clenches his fists and stalks his way out of the room. Bear enters the room and closes the door.
"Sorry." She says.
"It's okay, I'm guessing break ups can be hard." I say while going back to drawing the woods. Bear sits behind me and wraps her arms around my waist. My breath stifles and I accidentally make a line across the page.
"You really are new to all of this aren't you." Bear says with a chuckle. I nod and little bit while resting my sketch pad down on the bed. I lean back into Bear a little bit, it's always cold under ground so it's nice to have Bear here. I feel her plant small kisses on my neck so I tilt my head to give her more access. I sigh out relaxing a little bit. Bear suddenly stops I turn to her squeezing her eyes shut.
"You okay?" I ask softly.
"Just... ugh a lot on my mind." She says.
"Do you wanna talk?" I ask her. Her arms tighten around my waist, her eyes daring to open and glow blue.
"You need to tie me up." She breaths out.
"Bear, it's okay." I say, I don't want to have to tie her up again.
"No!" She yells holding me tighter.
"You won't hurt me, it's okay." I say. She buries her face in my neck.
"Yes I will." She says as her nails dig into my sides.
"No you won't." I tell her. She starts taking a few more deep breaths than finally seems like she has it under control.
"Is it over?" I ask her. She nods her head. "You're getting a lot better." I say. She sighs and leans back, taking me with her.
"Mine." She says possessively. I smile and let her hold me.

I wake up to Rowan shaking me and Bear our of bed, which is pretty embarrassing seeing that Bear was cuddling me but Rowan doesn't seem to care.
"Guys the northern resistance agreed to join us, we have to meet them in the woods in a few hours. They want to meet the girls who allegedly escaped the academy!" He whispers. I immediately sit up and Bear jumps away too. Rowan darts out of the room to get ready on his own. I cover my face with my hands to hide the blush. I hear a small chuckle from Bear so I elbow her in the ribs.

I get up and start putting on my cloths as well as doing my hair. Bear starts to changing and I advert my eyes quickly.
"What? Embarrassed~" she makes fun of me. I look down and at the floor and hear her chuckle again as she continues changing.

The hike to the meeting place takes forever. It's almost dawn and the whole group that Rowan took with us can't help but yawn either. Even Rowan looks tired. I take the moment to look at Bear. She looks so proud and happy, she's walking with power and confidence, like she used to before the academy beat her down. I smile and take all of it in. I've never felt this way about someone before. I just want to protect her like all my friends but I also want her to be there for me too. It's like I know I can fall back because she would catch me. Bear notices me looking at her and she smiles at me. She reaches out her hand and I take it, allowing myself to put my guard down.

Soft voices can be head in the distance and the crackle of a fire is also apparent. We break through the final round of thick branches and we see a huge broken down outdoors theater, completely made of stone. At least forty people are sitting in the stone seats laughing and straining there voices while twenty people at the front of the theater make weird movements around the fire. They seem to be having fun but they look very stupid.
"What are they doing?" I ask while me and Bear go sit down.
"What do you mean?" Asks Bear.
"They are all talking weird and those people at the front look like they are being shocked." I say. Bear starts laughing. "What?" I ask while turning to her. She doesn't stop laughing for awhile and snorts quite a lot too. I feel blush creeping across my face.
"What!" I demand.
"You don't know what singing and dancing is?" She says between laughs. I take a moment to think. It's hard to think about before the academy. They make you shove your whole life down and tell you to forget it. I have this one memory that I couldn't forget. When I was little I used to think about it to help me when I was sad.
"I think... I think my mother used to sing to me." I say. Bear stops laughing but is still smiling. Something that sounds like a trumpet blows and everyone quiets down as well as stops 'dancing' as Bear calls it. Some girl walks out from the wood with different armor on than the rest of the northern resistance. She has light brown hair tied up into a perfect bun with an expressionless face. Now everyone is silent. Rowan walks up to her and it seems almost as if they are going to fight. Then they both crack a smile and embrace each other in a hug.
"It is good to see you Kaylein." Rowan says.
"You two old friend." She says. They both stand and face the crowd.
"The Agents are the weakest they have ever been, and we have the most information that we have ever had!" Rowan yells pridefully. Everyone cheers and some people even jump up in excitement.
"Now is our time to strike and join forces! Now is our time to take down the academy's!" Kaylein yells too. They both take hands and continue yelling out to the crowd, but something seems to be bothering Bear. I take her hand and she looks at me. In what seems like only an instant her eyes start glowing blue and she falls to the ground yelling. Everyone looks over at her and the yelling stops. I immediately wrap my arms around her and hold her still.
"Kiara go take care of her!" Rowan yells from the stage.
"No! What is going on Rowan!" Kaylein pulls her hand away from Rowans and turns to him. I try to help Bear to a calm place but the mother's resistance group stops me. Kaylein wasn't messing around when she chose who would be joining her group to meet us.
"Please! I need to take her to a calm and peaceful place!" I yell at them. Rowans people start shoving Kayleins people back. Fights start breaking out and all I can do is sit with Bear thrashing in my arms.
"Shh it's okay, I have you. Bear please calm down." I say holding her close to me.
"Stop!" Kaylein yells over the crowd. Everyone stops and turns to her.
"Sit down!" Rowan yells. Everyone immediately sits down and I keep Bear right in my arms as she try's to punch and kick me.
"Bring Bear down." Kaylein says. Carefully I lift Bear up and carry her down the steps to the stage. She nearly gets out of my grasps but I hold her still.
"Let me go!" Bear yells.
"Now show me how you help her." Kaylein says.
"It's a lot easier when we are alone in quiet place-"
"Show me." She demands again. I sigh and sit down holding Bear tight.
"It's okay, I promise. No one here wants to hurt you. I will never let them hurt you." I say while holding her. She starts taking a few breaths and her eyes go back to normal. She realizes that she's on stage with everyone staring at her.
"Umm, why are we here?" She whispers to me. Before I can answer I'm interrupted.
"We will join your cause." Kaylein says. The crowd starts cheering but she puts her hand up. "But we want the girl." She says.
"What!" Bear says getting up. She raises her fist but Rowan pulls her back. I sit on the floor terrified.
"But she is the only one who can help Bear." Rowan tells Kaylein.
"That is our deal." She says. Rowan takes a moment to think.
"You can't actually be considering this!" Bear yells while try to escape Rowan and get to me.
"Will we get her back?" Rowan asks.
"Yes, once the academy's are destroyed." Kaylein says. Rowan looks at me for a second. I can believe he's actually thinking about it.
"You have a deal." He sticks his hand out to Kaylein.
"Ugh I fucking hate you!" Bear yells and kicks him in the knee. He grunts and falls. Bear runs over and grabs me, pulling me close to her.
"No one is taking her!" She threatens. Two of Kayleins men start walking over to me. I turn around and hide myself into Bears arms.
"Please protect me Bear." I whine into her.
"We will see you here again next week to discuss how we will attack. Until then I suggest you prepare and start getting back on your feet." Kaylein says.
"See you next week." Rowan agrees. Bear yells as the two men pull me away from her. Rowan grabs Bear and I thrash around trying to escape.
"No! Let go of me!" I scream. The last thing I see before accidentally knocking myself out on a rock after I got free is Bear freaking out and her eyes turning blue.
