The Bad Feeling

I woke up Wednesday morning after a good night's sleep and checked the clock. Right on time! I had an hour to shower, brush my teeth, get dressed, eat breakfast, and catch the school bus. I sit up on my bed and stretch while yawning; I then get out of bed and head towards the bathroom.

I get to the bathroom and close the door behind me and lock it so no one walks in on me taking a shower. I turn the water on making it very hot and close the curtain to the shower. I start undressing, I take my shirt off, then my pants, then my underwear, leaving no clothing on my body. I step into the shower and smile from feeling the hot water hit my back. I start washing myself when, in the middle of washing my hair, I get an eerie feeling, as if today is different than the last. Much, much, different.

I continue washing myself and then rinse off, turn the water off, and step out of the shower. I open the cabinet and grab a towel and wrap it around my waist securing it tightly so it wouldn't fall as I walk to my room.

I get to my room and dry off then I put on my school uniform. The more I get ready the bigger the eerie feeling grows, the more the feeling grows the sicker I feel; but I push through that and go to the bathroom to brush my teeth. On the way to the bathroom I see my mom and decide to say good morning.

Raymond: "Good morning Mom!"

Raymond's Mom: "Morning sweetheart! Hurry up and get ready! The bus is gonna be here soon!"

Raymond: "Yes ma'am!"

That's my mom, Carrie, she's a purple demon like me. She has purple eyes, long blond hair, fair skin like me, long black horns, freckles, 5'6", and huge black demon wings that she doesn't use unless necessary.

Carrie: "Breakfast is on the table!"

Raymond: "Thanks mom!"

I get to the bathroom and turn on the faucet. I look at myself in the mirror and just stay there staring at myself. The longer I stare, the sicker I feel. I think to myself, 'Why am I a demon?.. Why couldn't I have been an angel, or a superhuman, maybe even a witch.' I stop looking at myself and look down at the sink and then grab my toothbrush. I grab the toothpaste and put a little bit on my toothbrush and then let a little bit of the water run on the toothbrush that now has minty toothpaste on it. I turn the faucet off and begin to brush my teeth.

I finish brushing my teeth and clean up the sink leaving it the same way it was before. I head out of the bathroom and towards the dinning room. I got to the dinning room and saw my breakfast on the table; I check the time and see that my bus is almost here and that if I wanna make it I have to just grab the toast and run. I grab the toast off the plate and get to the door and put it in my mouth while I kneel down and hurry to get my shoes on.

Raymond: "Bye Mom!! I've gotta go or I'll miss the bus! Sorry I can't eat the breakfast you cooked up!"

Carrie: "That's alright honey! Hurry up and go so you're not late! I love you!"

Raymond: "I love you too, Mom!"

I stand up and grab by backpack and throw it on; I then open the door and start running towards my bus stop so I'm not late. On the way there I quickly eat my piece of toast and before I know it, I'm at the bus stop.

Raymond: "Sadie!! What's up?"

Sadie looks at me as if I'm crazy

Sadie: "Top a the mornin to ya! Did you run here?"

Raymond: "Yeah.. hey! Can I ask you a question?"

Sadie: "Make it snappy"

Raymond: "Well.. I started getting an eerie feeling.. and it just keeps getting worse, and worse, and I was wondering what it's from.."
