It's a bittersweet gift
A choice that we have
Both beautiful and ugly we choose our own pathThere are millions of roads
Some leading the same direction
Sometimes we change roads
Feeling need of a correctionOften times in this world
These paths intertwine
This could be for the better or worse of mankindIf you have an opinion
By all means do tell
But do not silence others
And Damn us to hellWe all have our rights
And yes judgment is one
But so is true love
And the right to own gunsWe've been fighting ourselves
Driving equality to extinction
For some man in the sky
All caused by our distinctionsWe are all born equal
No better no worse
From her Mary Jane hoodie
To his pink miniskirtYou have your right to judge
So please do by all means
But your judgment affects others
Children, adults, and teensSo learn to be mindful
Slow to speak quick to listen
Here is the world's voice
See her eyes when they glistenLife can be so much more
When we stand hand-in-hand
Excepting of others differences
Spreading love to all the land
