Two feet to walk
To travel the earth
To explore the unknown
Learning of life's worthTwo legs to run
To jump over obstacles
To walk at a steady pace
Or dance whenever possibleTwo ears to hear
To take in the noise that surrounds me
Hearing the language of the world
Letting it's sound astound meTwo eyes to see
To witness miracles unfold
To read books and see beauty
Observe the world untoldOne nose to smell
To endure all scents around me
The smell of a rainy day
The scents that linger proudlyOne heart that feels
Feels that that you use
Sees the road blocks you build
Sees you prepare the nooseWhat race am I?
Where am I from?
My race is human
I'm from my mothers wombWhat is so hard
So complicated and dreadful
That each humans the same
But different and beautifulYour worth is not based
On your skin and complexion
Every thing on this earth
Was made to perfection.
