Shira was out hunting a deer. But she wasn't really focus on her prey. She was more focused on what happened with Diego. She hadn't seen him for a while and she felt guilty for just leaving him. 'Why did I do that?' She wondered in her head, feeling so bad about it.

"Diego?" Her ears perked at a familiar voice and it scared her prey away. She got out of her hiding spot and spotted Sid and Manny looking for something...or someone.

"Um guys. What's going on?" She asked him, approaching the two. She noticed they looked worried. "Shira have you seen Diego?" Manny asked her worried while Sid climbed up a tree, looking for their friend.

"No. Not really. Why?" She asked, starting to have a bad feeling and  getting a little worried. "It's just he suddenly disappeared. He said I was going to show you something and ah!" Sid explained but then he fell off the tree.

"But that was two days ago! We're really worried about him" Sid finishdd explaining and he and Manny kept looking. Shira's eyes widen and her heart fell. 'It must've been because of how I reacted! He must've thought I hated it!' She thought in her head worried.

She quickly took off running to the spot where she last saw him...the spot where he sang for her. Shira was hoping that Diego might be there but he wasn't. Her ears fell and she was freaking out inside, her eyes wide and her head turning to all directions trying to find him.

She started sniffing the ground and found a scent....Diego's scent. "Two days old. But I can still follow it" she told herself and started following the scent deeper in the forest. While following the trail, so many thoughts were surging inside Shira's head.

'Please be ok Diego. This is all my fault. He went missing because of me. I should never have left him standing there. What was I thinking?' She thought worried and feeling guilty.

Her ears twitched at some rustling behind her and she turned around quickly, hissing and snarling, her ears flat.

And out came..."Diego!" Shira said happy and overjoyed. Diego had come out, snarling but he calmed down once he saw Shira.

"Diego I was so worried" she told him and put her head under his neck, nuzzling. Diego blushed surprised and looked at her. He was not expecting her to react like that.

Shira was just happy to see Diego again and happy to see he was ok. She  looked at him in his green eyes serious "Why did you suddenly disappear? And for two days? Everyone was worried" she told him upset and Diego saw the worry in her blue eyes and it made him feel bad that he made her worry.

"I'm sorry" he said, his ears and eyes down at the ground. "It's ok. I'm just glad I found you" she told him but Diego shook his head. "No I'm sorry about the surprise" he told her and Shira got quiet.

"I messed up. You hated it and I got upset and ran off, wanting to be alone and..." he started but then a paw got on his mouth and stopped him from talking. Shira looked at him, feeling bad.

"Diego I never hated your surprise" she told him and he stared at her wide eye and surprised as her paw got off his mouth. "I ran because I was so touched and speechless and I didn't know how to react so I ran off. That was a mistake. I really like your surprise" she explained to him, her eyes looking away for a moment.

Diego felt relieved that she didn't hate his surprise "So you liked it?" He asked her and she looked at him, blushing but also smiling. She gave a lick on his nose.

"Yeah. You sing good. Now come on let's go let the others know that we found you" she told him as she walked off and Diego smiled at her, following her back to the Herd.
