You're a rare species
Endangered creature
One of your own kindYou don't ask to know
You ask to tell
You don't speak to speak
You speak to teach
And you don't listen
You studyYou have loud thoughts
Yet silent lips
You have knowledge
Yet you refuse to claim it
You say nothing, when you wish to say a lot
You say a lot, when you wish to say nothingYou're a paradox in every sense
A contradiction
You're molten lava buried under mount erebus
You're a fish in the water in a well
You paint your long fingernails, nude
You could melt the artemision bronze with your eyes
Yet you refuse to let them meet
You have a presence that can't be refused
Yet you refuse it's refusal to be refusedYou're a wonder
Yet to be discovered
Yet to be understood
You find pain to be beautiful
And silence is the loudest thing that one could give you
And the saddest story is the most romanticYou deny yourself pleasure
If you deem it unbalanced
You refuse the very things you begged for
You're a strange creature, indeed
You're a creature, nature never wished for.
