life is beautiful
for the eye
who sees a garden,
and never lets its gaze linger too long
on the life's big sharpened thorns,
because a smooth blush of
saturation
and
pigment
only found in
the life's wild roses
seems a little bit more worth looking at,
even if you're long gone and covered in spikes
