blending in with the grey walls
in each other's empty heads,

telling many white lies
no more getting mad

you in mine
and me in yours.
past is broken and we're lost
in each other's
long forgotten
love-caused chaos.

a cursed thing we both knew
but we preferred to say we're better

love
was
never
something
new
enough
to last forever.

no more number ones
other than
our sanity,

now that we've lost lots,
but we still have
a memory.
