THE NEXT DAY

felix woke up, and did his usual routine to get ready for school.

he bid farewell to his mom and dad and then walked to the school.

he went to find hyunjin but he wasn't in his usual spot, at his locker.

he went around asking where he was and nobody knew.

chan was dreading walking into the school. he really didn't want to see felix.

he saw woojin wasn't in his usual spot, on the bench outside the bathroom.

felix goes to principals office and asks if the principal can contact him.

felix knocks on hyunjins door, but only his mom came to the door, she reports he never came home last night.

felix goes to the cafe, and sees the cafe was burned down. he sees someone in a distance.

he walks up to him, but he slowly backs away.

"you're here for woojin right" felix asks him and he nods.

"well we should stop looking because it seems they.... they're gone" felix dreads saying that, but it seemed like it was the truth.

chan was quiet, but he followed felix as he walked closer to the scene.

"excuse me gentlemen this is a private investigation we ask you to please leave" there was an officer.

"um... we just want to know what happened? our friends worked here" felix says.

"who were they?" he asked.

"hwang hyunjin and kim woojin" felix replies.

the officer talks to the medical officer for those names and he shakes his head as a sign they weren't alive.

"we are sorry but your friends didn't survive the fire.... it was said that one of them tried to save the one... but they both died in the end" felix and chan were devastated.

this wasn't happening right? felix though and then wipes his eyes that started to fill up.

chan didn't believe that. he didn't want his best friend to die.

he didn't want to not have him anymore.

chan looks down, and then feels someone put their hand on his shoulder, he looks up and sees felix.

"it's gonna be okay" felix says and chan just looks at him. he didn't believe that.

"guys! I found someone!" one of the medical officers yelled and everyone gathered to bring out someone.

he was coughing and was covered in ashes from the fire.
