XXXIV - final chapter

they all could not believe what was happening.

"h-how...? huh?" chan was probably the most confused.

"so youre probably wondering how im here right?" felix looks at them and they nod, except for jeongin who was confused on who he is.

"it would be nice to know" hyunjin replies and felix smiles, and then looks around.

"okay but two things first, who are you and is minho here?" felix points to jeongin and chans eyes widen.

"hi... im jeongin chans boyfriend" jeongin smiles and felix looked at him, looked at chan, and then looks away from both of them.

chan looks down at the floor and sighs.

"well as for the second question no, minho is not here, we have no idea what happened to him" woojin breaks the silence.

"actually he is on his honeymoon with jisung look" hyunjin takes out his phone and shows a picture from a few hours ago on his instagram and they all smile.

"I knew they liked each other" felix says and they all laugh.

"anyway... so youre probably still wondering how im here" felix stops laughing and they nod.

"well 10 years ago, it seemed like a miracle or something... I woke up and the doctor said that I was cured, and.... I stayed there for about 6 months to make sure that it was not a haux... and the doctor tried to contact chan but he never could" he looks at chan and then continues.

"so I figured he was off somewhere enjoying his life, so I decided to do the same... and I lived with my parents for a few years before I got my own place.. and well here I am" felix looks at all of them and they all are in shock.

"so... youre like.... okay now?" hyunjin asks him and he nods.

"I cant do this" chan runs out of the school and jeongin goes after him.

"chan! stop!" jeongin holds his arm and he turns around.

"what?" chan looked upset but also mad.

"why did you run off....?" jeongin asked him softly.

"I'm just in so much shock" chan crosses his arms and sits down on the curb outside the school.

"you're in so much shock because he's the one you have always loved right....?" jeongin confesses and chan looks at him.

"seeing him again brings back all the memories but.... I just don't want to relive the bad parts when I was with him...." chan sighs.

"don't worry about it, just go to him stubborn ass" jeongin says and chan looks at him.

"are you mad....?" chan asks.

"of course I am.... mad that you finally... after what? 2 years? decided to let me do this" jeongin takes out his gun and aims it at chan.

"w-what are you doing?" chan puts his hands up to stop him.

"you don't remember? well does yang ryujae ring a bell?" jeongin adds and chans eyes widen.

"y-you're her son?" chan was shocked to hear this, considering how bad his childhood was because of her.

"yup, and now nobody's around so I can finally do what my intention was" jeongin smirks.

"do you know how much shit your family put through me and my family? your mom is the reason my parents are so fucking greedy" chan starts to get angry.

"oh well" jeongin shoots and then chan goes black.

"chan! chan!" chans mom shakes him to wake him up.

he sits up and he breathes heavily.

"w-what happened?" chan looks at his mom.

"you started yelling and we have been trying to wake you up for so long, you kept yelling peoples names... and you started crying too" she continues and chan was confused.

"what...??" he looks at his clock on his phone and realizes he is late for school.

"I have to go pick up felix!" chan gets up and then his mom stops him.

"whose felix? wait.... isn't he the boy from school you hate so much?" chan was even more confused now.

"nevermind.... I'll be down soon" chan says and his mom nods and leaves his room.

"it was all a dream??? was my love for him fake? and his love for me?" chan felt tears fall from his eyes.

he didn't want it to be just a dream

he didn't want it to be fake

he didn't want to be in a rivalry with felix.

he wanted his dream to be real.

but it turns out life can't give you what you want, you just have to deal with it, and let things flow, and just wait to see what happens next as the days go by.

you just see wait to see what happens when you start out to hate someone, and then fall in love with them in the end.
