There's always a balance in the life.

If there's bad, there's good too.

If there's negative, there's positive too.

Same was with my life too.
Vickie was more of a dominating and serious person. Whereas, Sarah and Ricky were happy-go-lucky and cheery people.

They always had a nice comeback or funny joke for any situation.
And it's not like they were not good in studies.

In fact, Sarah was among top 3 students in the class.

I have to say this, almost all the students in my classes were very intelligent.
And that was what made studying interesting.

There was always some kind of competition going on. And as a 'nerd', I liked it.

But, all of us were having problems with our History, Geography, and Civics ( social sciences) teacher.

And hence, here comes the new teacher. Someone very Important.

It was a female teacher, Mrs. Neela.

She is one of the best teachers I've ever had.

Unlike other teachers, who give their introduction first and tell about their qualifications and all, she didn't do anything like that.

She simply entered the classroom, we greeted her and she started teaching.
And she did so well.

After the class was over, someone asked her, "What about the introduction?"

She said, "Don't worry about that. Your scores and performance will introduce you"

I was very impressed with her, and as I mentioned earlier, I was very good at studies, so I was looking forward to introduce myself to her.

She was the perfect teacher, not only teaching the book-ish stuff, but giving life lessons too.

A perfect teacher in every sense. Friendly sometimes, and strict too.
Friendly Hitler, you can say.

I was loving her classes and was trying hard to score my highest.

Everyday she would come in the classroom and would write, "Don't be like a stone, which is everywhere" On top of the blackboard.

After a few days, I asked her why wouldn't she write the whole couplet. She said, "Apply this one on your life and then I'll write the rest of it"

It was, "Be like a diamond, which is rare"

And she did write it.

Anyway, I excelled in her subject too, and every time there was a test or any quiz, she expected the best from me, which pushed me to do better and better each day.

With her, it was like I was compelled to give my best. No matter what, I had to do it.
And it was all from my heart. The respect, the faith.

Gradually, she became like a mother to me. Always caring about my well being.

Day by day, all the students got better. Not only because of Mrs. Neela, but other teachers as well. Every single teacher was so good that I had this weird urge to be the best all the time.
