I was busy improving my friendship with Priya in the absence of Vickie.
But when she was present, we befriended Sanya.

One day we saw her sitting alone at lunch. So, we went to her and introduced ourselves. We asked about her and why did she shift to this school, to which she replied, "The fees was less, so I shifted to an expensive school"

Now, I won't exactly say expensive, but yeah, the school was quite good with more fees than other schools.

But her reason didn't sit well with us. It felt like she was trying to show off about her money. But still, it was already a couple months, and she was still struggling to settle.

So, we put aside all the thoughts and invited her to sit with us at lunch, daily.

As thank you, she gave us many chocolates and shared her delicious lunch with us.

When we exited the classroom, Vickie said, "I didn't know being friends with her would be so beneficial. She will treat us everyday!"

I didn't know how to feel about that comment.

Only good thing was, I made another friend. And I was happy.

_______________

One day, Vickie, Sarah, and I were sitting together and were playing tic-tac-toe game, while commenting at each other.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, Vickie said to me, "You fuck"

SHE LITERALLY SAID THAT OUT LOUD.

'Fuck' as in the 'verb' fuck. Like it was an activity like running or walking.

I didn't know the meaning of that word. I was just a naive girl.

I asked her the meaning and she told me when a boy kisses a girl all over her body and does other things as well.

To say I was humiliated, angry and shocked, was an understatement.

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that my so called best friend would say something like that to me.

I cried.

It was a big deal to me.

I went home. And I told my mother about this. She and I went to Vickie's house to meet her mother.

My mother told her mother about all of this. She yelled at Vickie and demanded to know who taught her that word.
At first Vickie didn't say anything and instead shouted at her mother.

And said that she already apologized to me for this. As if it was a favor.

When her mother scolded her nicely, then she said, "Sarah taught me this"

I was surprised. I didn't know whether she was telling the truth or not. But her mother got mad at Sarah.

And denied her from interacting with Sarah anymore.

And my mother told me to stay away from Vickie.
But I was still not ready to believe that Vickie was wrong! Foolish, I know.
