After our trip to Cancun kairi went back to soccer and I was once again left alone at home.

I had gone to the doctors 2 days before kairi left and they said I should be due in less than 2 weeks I'm super excited. I woke up this morning, took a shower and changed into something comfy so I could go get Starbucks

I ordered a pink drink and I continued to think about baby names but my thoughts were interrupted by a call from Katie

I dropped my drink as soon as I heard

Holy shit my best friend is going to give birth. I rushed to the family house. I grabbed Katie's things and helped her get in the car. Does it hurt I ask looking at her from time to time. We arrive at the hospital.

I'm sitting next to Katie holding her hand waiting for ale to get here. Breath Katie just breathe. Katie continues to breathe. 5 mins pass by and ale finally got here, I was told to get out the room. Shes here ale says excitedly. eeeh i cant wait I say. i enter the room. im gonna give you guys some alone time ale says stepping out. so how'd it feel i ask. it hurt like alot but overall in the end it was worth it now I have my babygirl in my arms. can i hold her i ask. of course katie says. i grab her and my eyes fill with tears. kia you ok whats wrong Katie asks confused. oh yea im fine its just this is gonna be me in a couple of days its crazy ah i dont know how to feel im really excited but scared I say wiping my tears with one hand. I'm sitting on the front porch angry, aggravated and annoyed my hands on my forehead and my foot tapping the floor. Harshly. Maybe a little too hard. Kiaras car pulls up and she gets out the car coming towards me. I told you not to drive I say calmly. Kairi she says trying to reason with me. I told you not to drive I say raising my tone just a bit higher. Kai come on Kiara says still trying to reason. I TOLD YOU NOT TO DRIVE I yell at her softly jabbing my finger in her chest. I wanted to go off so badly, but I knew it would be too much for her, I knew I would end up saying something stupid and mess this all up, I needed to keep my cool so I stayed quiet while I played with my fingers trying to distract myself from saying something. I look at her one more time but with hurt in my eyes, trying to let her know I wasn't happy with her decision, letting her know she hurt me because she was being stubborn, because she never likes to listen. I'm sorry she says hugging me tightly. I didn't expect it so I didn't hug her back right away but I could hear her sniffles and how her voice broke. I'm sorry too but you just can't keep doing that we talked about this less than 2 weeks ago kiara you have to listen to me when I tell you, you aren't able to drive on your own. I'm sorry ok I was coming back from getting starbucks, she was at the family house that's like 15 minutes away she called me unexpectedly, ale wasn't with her so that meant she was alone and she chose to call me kiara explains. At that moment I wasn't thinking, ok I just wanted to get there as fast as I possibly could so my best friends baby would be delivered safely, I thought about how I would feel if that was me so I had no choice kairi kiara says. Alright I'm letting this one slide but next time I don't care if there's a new handbag that is only sold somewhere or you can get a chance to meet one of your idols, I can't have you driving 9months pregnant I say calmly. Ok I won't Now lets go inside kiara says grabbing my hand, unlocking the door and pulling me to the couch. How long are you staying kiara asks. Monday I respond. Aw I'm gonna miss you kiara says in her baby voice. No your coming with me I say in my baby voice. Yay kiara says giggling. Oh baby tomorrow we have the maternity photo shoot here at home kiara says reminding me. Oh ok that's fine I say.

Kiaras POV
I get off the couch and I my back down on the floor just staring at the ceiling. Next thing I know I'm in kairis arms crying on his chest. I know she would've loved our princess kairi says trying to shush my sniffles. I just wish she was here ya know it would make it better I say wiping my tears. I know princess, i know but everything happens for a reason where would we be if you weren't pregnant, if we never met, if we never started dating, if we never got married, if I would've died the day I got shot, if you would've gotten shot that night along with me, if we never had arguments, if I didn't love you kairi says. your grandma didnt deserve to be taken so early but god has earned one heck of an angel Kairi says. Hey guys sorry I wasn't publishing I was struggling on what to write. I wanted to make this the chapter where kiara gave birth but I remembered Katie being pregnant. It'll probably take me pretty long for the next chapter to be done because of how I'm struggling to find things to write, but I promise you I'm gonna end this book pretty soon and by pretty soon I mean about less than 30 chapters lmao I have so many ideas I want to use I feel like making a sequel but I have so many ideas for different books I have about 3 drafts of books that I'm gonna write
