Somin's Birthday vlive

(A.N: According to her k-profile, today is Somin's birthday! So I just wrote a little story about her v-live and how she spends her day. Also this is set in 2020, which is why she's 24 instead of 17. I hope you enjoy this and stay frosty! Bye~!)

Somin turned on the camera, smiling at the stream of people already flooding in. Today was June 10th, her 24th birthday. She opened the chat, seeing it flooding with hellos and happy birthday messages.

"Hi Army! It's so nice to see you again." She read a comment aloud. "Where's everyone else? Ah, the guys are busy, so they couldn't make it." She shrugged, picking up a sloppily frosted strawberry cupcake.

"Do you guys like them? I decorated them myself. Sorry if they're a bit messy." Somin said, pausing to open her laptop. "Do you guys wanna hear some music?" She asked, seeing the comments flood with suggestions. Ah, Twice just had a comeback. Should we listen to that?" Somin said, searching More & More on Melon. Pulling up the mv, she hummed along to the song. After a few more songs by Blackpink, Momoland and Mamamoo, she was interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Come in." Somin said, as Jin, Jimin and Hobi burst in, singing happy birthday. Somin jumped, before realizing why they were there.

"You guys...! I thought you were-"

"C'mon Minnie, you didn't think we'd let you spend your birthday alone, did you?" Jimin said, as they all sat down next to her.

"Plus, we saw you had cupcakes so-" Jin added.

"Go ahead, help yourselves." Somin smiled, as Jin was already doing so. As they all read the comments, Jin chuckled to himself. Hoseok read from the comments, as Suga walked into the studio.

"Hey, I saw you losers were having a party, so I dropped in." Suga said, as Somin instantly ran over to hug him. "I can't stay for long, I gotta go to the studio." He added, patting Somin's head.

"Nooo, you gotta stay..." Somin whined. "I'll buy you lamb skewers." she added, as Yoongi chuckled.

"Tempting, but no. I've got some things to record." Yoongi said, picking up a cupcake. Jiyoung pouted, sitting down in a defeated slump.

"Hey, you guys got any song requests?" she asked, getting her laptop again.

"Uhm, how about Kill this love? Blackpink is coming back soon, right?" Jimin said as Somin nodded, opening the song.

"Bangtan in your area~" Somin sang, as Hoseok and Jimin giggled. After a while, Jin looked up.

"Hey Somin, why don't we go out for your birthday? My treat." he nodded as Somin perked up.

"Ah, Jin, that's so sweet~!" Somin said, hugging him.

"Sure, I could eat." Hoseok chimed in, as Yoongi nodded. Somin chuckled, giving him a sly look.

"Don't you have to go to your studio, Mr. Big shot?" Minnie said playfully. Yoongi thought for a second.

"I can go later." He said, hunching his shoulders, before digging a small bag out of his backpack. "I got this for you. Happy birthday." Suga said as Somin gasped, looking at the silver necklace.

"Yoongi, this is beautiful... I couldn't possibly-"

"Save it. No returns, no refunds."

"Oh, okay then. Thank you so much, Yoongi." Somin said, clasping the necklace around her neck while Jimin lifted her hair out the way.

"So, since Jin's taking us out, can we go to a restaurant with Dwaeji Gukbap?" Jimin said, as Somin scoffed playfully.

"Ugh, you're such a Busan kid."

"You're one to talk. Remember when you and Hoseok were talking about Jeolla province food?"

"Stop, you're making me hungry..." Hoseok whined.

"And your satoori was coming out too. I could barely understand what you were talking about." Jin laughed, as he checked the time. "We'd best get going. All the good places close at around 5."

"Well Army, thanks so much for wishing me a happy birthday! I purple you!" She said, making hearts as she turned off the camera.
