Somin was let out at the corner, clutching a suitcase. The man had let her out with nothing but a key and an explanation that the rooms were in fact, coed. As she carried her bags, she began to think about her roommates. Who were they? How would they feel about a new member six weeks before debut, especially a girl? These thoughts caused her to drop her suitcase at the top step on the open button. It burst open, and her clothes fell everywhere.
"Son of a..." She grumbled, picking up her clothes that had fallen on the stairs.
"...Hello?" Somin jumped, turning to face a kid, not much younger then she was. He was in a school uniform, suggesting that he was on his way back from school. She looked at his hand, and was horrified to see one of her bras dangling from his fingertips.
"I-Is this yours?" This kid, upon realizing what he was holding, was just as embarrassed as she was, and she took it back, blushing furiously.
"Uhm, yeah...." After a few awkward seconds of silence, the kid wordlessly helped her pick up the rest of her clothes.
"Thanks..." She murmured under her breath. "Jeon Somin." Definitely not the first impression she'd hoped for.
"Jeon Jungkook." The kid replied, as they both bowed. "Wait, you're the...?"
"New member, yep." Somin scratched the back of her head. Jungkook looked confused, but decided not to inquire further.
"Uhm, where's everyone else?"
"Probably at the studio or at school." Somin picked up her suitcase, hesitantly placing it beside the couch. She stood awkwardly as the younger boy walked around.
"So, Jeon Somin ssi-"
"Noona is fine. You're not that much younger than me."
"Somin noona... Where are you from?" He was looking out the window.
"Uhm, Jeollabuk-do." Somin sat down, looking around the dorm.
"Well, do you know the debut song? The choreography?" He asked, thinking about how difficult it was. Somin shook her head.
"Well, you can put your stuff up. I think you're in the room at the end of the hall." Jungkook said, pointing toward the end of the hall. Somin walked down the hall and opened the door, nearly tripping over a pair of shoes in the doorframe. Placing her suitcase on one of the beds, she sat down. The situation she was in was finally dawning on her. It was all so overwhelming. Putting in her earbuds, she laid back, humming the song aloud.
