Now before you read this: Please note this is just something I just thought of, I will not force anyone to think that episodes need rewrite. It just so happens I want things to escalate.

That is why alternate endings exist, dare not?

Alf was still running down the mountain, having the rock in front of him. He can't reach the goal. 100% speed. And if he did, he has a risky action that can lead to his death.

But no, he'll risk it. He has a reason why.

"Must keep up this speed!!" He said as he felt harder to control his balance. Then it keeps up on 96%. But his control is gone.

He almost fell off the cliff when someone kicked the rock down. And it's Kay. He went in the right time.

You can see the anger in his face. Oh boy, Kay's mad. In fact, after he stood up he did not even mind to stare at the climber!

"Kay? Are you following me?" Alf asked as he stands up and has a confused look on his face. The last time he saw Kay is when he rejected the offer of assistance.

He has a big reason. Never. Hurt. Kay. Even if he's not the one who hurts him, if he learned he's hurt again. Fuck it. He'll kill anyone who does.

Then, something unexpected happened.

All Alf can see was the speedster pinning him down, still mad. What makes thing's more awkward is the fact Kay's short. Haha. Problem of a shortie.

Anyways, what are we talking about?

Kay was already in the verge of tears, his breathing is very difficult to control. He has mixed emotions, anger and worry. He's mad because of how reckless thing Alf would do and worried because he does not want to lose someone again.

How hurtful Kay's heart already is. His memories are already disoriented and blank. But everytime he spends time with him, something seems off. His heart make him feel like he actually loved the climber before.

And that makes Kay cry more, if he have not arrived in time...Alf already died.

"W-WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?! Y-You want to get hurt?! Y-You want y-your engine to stop?!!!" Tears were falling like waterfalls. His heart is beating faster. Dammit! Why is this happening?!

Alf stood quiet for a second. He showed a weak smile and held Kay's hand.

"Kay? Listen to me. Look at me." Kay slowly raised his head, and you can see how sad and worried he is for a dear...friend...

"Kay, its not that. Don't cry. Please."

"Y-You almost died!!! You're someone who I can't just let that happen! I-I don't want you to die..."

"Kayla?" He has a question look on his face. "Alf? Why did you call me Kayla?"

"I used to use that as your nickname. And its been a long time since I called you that. I miss you, Kay." Kay felt a hand on his back, then a moment later, he felt Alf hugging him.

"I-I..." They kept quiet for a while. All you can basically hear was sobs. Alf held Kay's chin and raised his head up, after seeing his face...

Crap. Alf felt guilty for making Kay cry like this. How sad he looks, really. He decided to wipe the tears away.

"Shh...don't cry. I'm here. Don't cry."

"A-Alf? Do I have a-a n-nickname for y-you too?"

"Alpha. That's your nickname for me."

"A-Alpha?" What shut both of them up is the rocks falling. One of the rocks almost hits Kay, but Alf managed to block the falling rock.

"Come on, its not safe here. Let's go to the camp site on the main summit." They both let go of each other's embrace and ran away, but Kay's right leg felt...numb.

Alf decided to take care of this, and carried Kay all the way to the summit. You can't deny how red Kay is and kept telling Alf to put him down.

"No Kay, you're hurt. Even if you tell me that " I'm fast" bullshit, I'm not letting you walk you little stubborn cutie."

Cutie. Word that made Kay blush even more. What the hell?! Alf still has time to flirt for a while?!

It took at least 10 minutes before they are back up. Alf lets out a sigh, disappointed that he'll need to do the training tomorrow.

"Were here, Kay." 

"How the fuck can you carry me for that long?"

"Ha, your weight is nothing to what I actually carry everyday. Plus, I can't just leave you like that."

Alf, slowly but surely, put Kay down. Then he removed his jacket, "Dammit, I forgot it's actually not cold up today. Fuck."

"Alpha? W-What is...happening with you?" Kay sat at one of the beds, while removing his vest. He was just worried for his friend-no. Best friend-no, not either. What is it?

'Love?' His heart beats faster when he thought of that word. Does...he...really...

Was the old him loves this climber?

"Sorry for making you worry. I felt guilty for your memory loss. I wish that I'm the one who was with you during that time."

"...But why?"

"I know, if I'm the one who was with you, you might not have been hurt. We should have finished the construction of the tunnel!"

"Alf..."

"I know, if I'm stronger than Duke. Then nothing of this would have happened."

Kay has a surprised look on his face. So...everything Alf does for the past weeks are for this?

Now he knows why he love this person.

Alf grabs something from his backpack. It was a necklace. A beautiful lazuli necklace.

"You know, my mother gave me this. She said that I will wear this to someone who...I am dear with."

"Dear with?"

"Kay, come here." He stood up and went closer to Alf, then, he felt something around his neck. The necklace. Alf smiled looking at the other while wearing a special necklace.

"Beautiful, just like you." Kay showed a genuine smile. The most beautiful smile in his mind. Ever.

"Alf? Thank you."

"Welcome. And thank you."

"For what?"

"For falling in love with you." Alf smiled. He held Kay's hand once more, and kissed it.

Kay took no time to waste, he wrapped his arms around Alf, and kissed him on the lips.

You can say both have the moment of the night. The moon and stars are the witnesses. The witness of two new lovers.

"I love you. Alf."

"I love you. Kay."
