3rd P.O.V.
The sound of a woman yelling at someone could be heard from the second floor of Akaashi's house. Her voice echoes in his brain as Akaashi laid on his bed in an almost empty room. It was the night before he and his parents were gonna finish packing up their things so they can move to their new house the next district over. It wasn't unusual for his parents to be fighting but that didn't make it less stressful. If it weren't already bad enough with him having to move and his parents fighting, some higher power would probably put another obstacle in his way. He tried to drown out the fighting by covering his ears with pillows. Thankfully he couldn't hear the fighting anymore and eventually he started to doze off.
The next morning Akaashi woke up early but decided to get up anyway, he'd rather be up early packing then going to sleep late. He made his way over to the bathroom that's connected to his room and took a shower. Thoroughly scrubbing his hair, then moving on to lather his body with soap. He didn't like being dirty so he took showers every day, sometimes even at night even though he had already showered earlier in the morning. After rinsing he turned the knob until the water had stopped running. He stepped out of the shower and dried off before getting dressed, brushing his teeth, and finishing up his morning routine. Having done his morning routine, Akaashi went downstairs and into the kitchen where his mother had started cooking breakfast.
The woman saw her son walking downstairs and greeted him with a smile. "Good morning sweetie, breakfast will be ready in a second." She motioned her hand towards the dinner table to tell him to sit down. Akaashi did as his mother said and sat down at the dinner table patiently waiting as he looked at the mainly empty house, the only things taking up the room were boxes packed to the brim. Everything was so different and boring, it almost looked depressing. Akaashi snapped out of his thoughts when he heard the clanging of plates being put on the wooden table. He looked to see what they were having, it was just a quick meal, only big enough to give them a jump start since they were gonna finish packing up and start moving the boxes into the moving truck so they can be transported to the new house. After eating he brought his plate to the sink and cleaned it, making sure to do it right, then drying it so that he could wrap it up in newspapers and put it in the box with the rest of the plates. The constant silence was almost painful, it was so silent Akaashi felt like he could hear his parents glares as they tried and failed to hide the fact that they're relationship was falling apart. Feeling pressure because he was literally the glue holding his family together if you could even call it a family that is.
Akaashi eventually went back up to his room to continue packing, putting the last of his small belonging in a box that was placed on his bed. Closing the box up, he folds one corner over the other, then picking it up and placing it in the pile of boxes in the corner of his room. Akaashi hadn't physically said a word to his parents since two days ago when they first started their recent argument, I guess you could say that was his way of protest, of course, his parents never paid enough attention to notice his underlying anger and somewhat sorrow. It was slowly drowning him. Knowing that if he messed up that would be the start of another fight for his parents as they blamed each other, even if it had absolutely nothing to do with them as if they were trying their best to tear the family apart. Using Akaashi as a gateway.
Realizing that he had started to get distracted by his thoughts he tried to let it go, occupying his brain with the task at hand. Akaashi started carrying the boxes in his room downstairs, placing them next to the door for easy access to quickly load them in the moving truck when the time had come.
About an hour had gone by while they carried the last few boxes downstairs. Taking one last look at his room, the only thing left was a single bed frame that his mom told him to leave so that they had a reason to get a new one for him, it was quite disheveled, so he was a little happy that he would at least get something that was sort of good out of moving. He walked out closing the door behind him, making his way down the steps and out the door, locking it and giving the key to his mom who was gonna give the key to the people they were renting it from. The house that they were gonna live in now is in complete possession of the Akaashi family. That's right, a couple and their son are moving into a house that they bought, even though the couple is falling apart.
They were on their last truckload and were on their way to the new house. since it was a few hours away Akaashi ended up falling asleep in the truck. He woke up to his dad telling him they were almost there and that he should get ready to help bring stuff in. Akaashi stretched a little as his bones popped, loosening his muscles so he could move around easier without aching. His dad slowly turned the truck into the driveway. It was almost lunchtime so they only worked a little before taking a break.
(Hey its Mira! Honestly, I like to write a lot and am currently really in the mood for it, so I hope to update as much as I can. I might even update a couple of times a week. Anyway, this is my first time writing something like this so I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I do writing it. At some point, might even start taking requests for ships, but that will probably only be after I get used to this, or at least until I'm done with this story. Alright, have a good day guys!)
