3rd Persons P.O.V.
All is well in the neighborhood that the two boys share, it was a peaceful morning. Although, that can only last for so long...
Akaashi woke up feeling histologic for an unknown reason, not even he knows. Even though Akaashi wakes up early every morning, he's not the morning person everyone sets him up to be.
Onetime, a while ago, When Akaashi was supposedly happy with his family; he had slept in, he slept the whole day away because neither of his parents could bring themselves to wake the tired boy. That was when his parents were still madly in love, but that ended quickly as he got older... A lot of couples fall out of love. That very thought might just be the very thing that's keeping Akaashi from making friends, pushing him to the brink of depression... However, he hid it from his parents, causing signs of anxiety to appear, which just so happens to make a nice topic for the 'seemingly happy' parents.
Nevermind that though, Akaashi had better things to worry about, it was almost time for him to meet up with Bokuto and head to school. But of course, something in Akaashi gave him a small feeling that they were gonna be later than Akaashi would like, whether it was his fault or not...
Akaashi quickly dried his hair and got dressed, immediately rinsing his mouth with mouth wash and brushing them soon after. Akaashi hated uniforms, they never seemed to work out for him, and to make matters worse, they were extremely uncomfortable to him. You could say he's a bit picky when it comes to clothes.
After he finished his morning routine he decided to skip breakfast, might as well try to get to school as soon as he can if he already knows he's gonna be late...
He rushed out the door after he slipped on his shoes and swiftly grabbed his bag.
Akaashi's P.O.V.
Since Bokuto's mom gave me a key to the house I decided I will just check on Bokuto myself. Lightly knocking on the door before unlocking it, I step in and see Bokuto's mom.
"Sorry for the intrusion ma'am..." I said with a slight bow.
"Oh, Akaashi! Its no problem, how did you sleep sweetie?" She said softly, letting a smile grace her lips.
'Bokuto-sans mom is really sweet... he's lucky, really, really lucky.'
"I slept okay, how about you Mrs. Bokuto?" I returned her smile.
"Good, oh and, call me Mitsuki, I don't mind, and it makes me feel younger." She said lightheartedly and laughed.
"Okay, Mitsuki-san it is then," I say kindly, then I shortly remember why I'm here. "Uh, is Bokuto-san ready?" I ask.
"Oh dear, I forgot to wake him up... He has such a bad habit of sleeping in, sorry honey." She says apologetically.
"Okay, should I go wake him up?"
"Oh, thanks Akaashi, his room is the first on the left. don't bother knocking, I know for sure that he's not up yet, and don't be afraid to drag him out of bed." She said as I started to make my way upstairs.
When I see his room, I do as she says and doesn't bother knocking. And sure enough, Bokuto is sound asleep, tangled in his blanket.
I sigh quietly, knowing full well that it will be a chore to get him up and going.
I walk up to him and start to feel that same feeling again in the pit of my stomach, it wasn't necessarily bad... But the feeling made me uncomfortable...
Bokuto was laying there, one leg was straight while the other was bent, one arm spread across as the other rested on his bare stomach, his shirt was slightly pulled up just far enough to see part of his abdomen. Bokuto's hair was messy, almost as bad as Kuroo's. Bokuto was quietly snoring.
