Dixie's Pov
2 weeks. It had been two weeks sense the party and showing her the town. I couldn't be happier. I had never cared for anyone else, but Addison was different. I couldn't explain it she just was. I cared about her more than myself and I loved her with my whole heart. I'm thinking about asking her out on a date soon.
I was standing by my locker talking with Griffin, Bryce and the rest of the boys. I watched as the doors to the building opened and there she came. The one and only angel, Addison Rae Easterling.
I gave her a quick wink just to see how she would react. Just as I suspected she started blushing, harder than usual. Hmm, wonder what that's about.
"Well boys, that's my cue to leave." I give them a tiny salute and walk over to Addison, who is currently putting stuff in her locker.
I wrap my arms around her waist and pull her closer. "Guess who?" I whisper.
"Hmm, let's see who could this be? Oh! I got it, I think that this is the most attractive girl in the world. Her name is Dixie D'amelio." She says
"Well you got me there. But mostly attractive definitely goes to you Ms. Easterling"
She turns around in my arms and gives me a soft kiss. I here one of the boys whistle jokingly.
"Fuck you." I laugh flipping the whole group off.
"Good morning baby." I kiss her cheek.
I knew I was falling, but I was falling harder than I thought.
"Good morning love." She smiles.
"DIXIE'S A BIG ASS SIMP!" Tony yells out.
"MR. LOPEZ! MY OFFICE NOW!" The principal yells.
"Sucks to be you." I say as he walks past me.
"Sooooo." I say.
"It's literally 7:50am calm down child. Control your emotions."
"I don't know what your talking about." I shrug innocently.
"I know exactly who you are D'amelio you can't fool me. And it's 7:50 we need to head to class." She closes her locker.
"But, Addison." I pout.
"You can't use that look on the originator of it. Now come on we have class." She tugs at my hand.
"Fine," I sigh. "But only because I love you. I really don't feel like going today."
"To bad you need to finish school with good grades so you won't be a total wreck in college." She says.
"Ouch, that one hurt me." I say fake hurt.
She just rolls her eyes and we keep walking, until she stops at a door.
"Gotta go, but I'll see you at lunch okay?" She walks in the class.
"Yeah lunch." I say walking into my class.
"Ah, first period English. Here I come." I say walking into the class and taking my seat next to Kate and Noen.
It was about half way through class when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turn back to see Avery. I roll my eyes and turn back to the front. I'm do better for her, she's right. I need to get my shit together. It's not that I had horrible grades it's just that I had C's in every class. Which to be fair is a passing grade but I want to make her proud of me.
"Dixie, talk to me. I need you." She whispers and I freeze.
"Leave me alone Avery."
"But Dixie, I know you want me."
"Listen here, the only person I'm interested in is Addison okay? Got it now leave me alone." I snap at her quietly.
"Addison? She's ugly. You could do better, like me."
"Shut the fuck up! You're not better than her, and she's beautiful."
"Whatever I'll be waiting till you get over her. When you get some common sense text me." She winks.
I flip her off and turn back to the lesson.
Lunch bell
Finally lunch time. I can finally go see Addison and the rest of the group.
God Avery had be bothering me non stop about her being so great. It's really pissing me off.
I finish putting my books in my locker and see her heading my way. I sigh loudly.
"Hey baby." She winks at me.
"Never call me that again. We need to talk. Somewhere private I'm not in the mood for a public fight.
Addison's Pov
"Hey guys where's Dixie?" I ask.
"No clue." Charli answers.
"Hmm, I'll be back I'm gonna go look for her."
I walk done the hallway until I stop dead in my tracks. It can't be. She would do that to you. It's Dixie pulling Avery into a closet.
Dixie's Pov
"So now let's get down to business. Leave me the fuck alone. I'm happy can't you see that?"
"But I could make you so much happier baby." She says walking closer to me.
"STOP FUCKING CALLING ME THAT!" I yell as I shove her against the door.
"YOU DONT FUCKING GET IT DO YOU?I'M HAPPY AVERY! FOR ONCE IN MY GOD DAMN MISERABLE LIFE IN FUCKING HAPPY." I yell getting angrier.
"But-" was a she could get out before I went off on her again.
"NO! BUT NOTHING! YOU CAN'T BEAT HER AND NEVER WILL!NOW STAY THE FUCK OUT OF MY LIFE!"
I walk towards the door face mad with anger.
Addison's Pov
She's been in the closet for a couple minutes. What was I thinking of course she's cheating on me. No we're not even dating.
WHY ME?! ALL I EVER WANTED WAS TO LOVE YOU!
Of course I wasn't good enough for her.
My thoughts are interrupted by the closet door swinging open to reveal a red faced Dixie exiting the time space.
I quickly head back to the cafeteria before she finds me and sit with the rest of the group.
I stay silent as the rest of them strike up conversations.
A few minutes later Dixie walks in a gives me a bright smile. I try and give her the best smile i could manage while completely torn up on the inside.
I feel her sit next to me and give me a quick kiss on the cheek. I stay emotionless. How can she act like she didn't just do that to me.
Dixie's Pov
Addison seems to be acting a little off, I have no clue why though.
"Baby." I say. She looks at me with a blank expression. "Are you okay baby? You just seem in your head today." I say concerned.
"I'm fine." She answers in a monotone voice.
"Okay." I wrap my arms around her a pull her close to me.
I lean my body against hers.
"Dixie, get off of me."
"Why, what's wrong?" I say worriedly
"I just don't feel like being touched today."
"Okay, just know I love you adds." I let go of her.
I wasn't mad, I was concerned. I knew she had bad days after the party. There were days where she could stand the thought of someone touching her, and there where days when I was woke up at 3am to my phone ringing to calls from her where she was crying and I would have to drive over to her house and tell her everything would be okay. Some days she was perfectly fine and she would always want me to give her my attention. But today wasn't one of those days, and I was worried about her. After all I loved her, although I'd never told her that in a relationship kind of way.
But no matter how she felt I was going to be there for her, whatever it would take I would be there.
I heard the cafeteria door open and my head shot up.
Alexander. Great the worst person that could walked in right now just walked in.
I go to stand up but feel someone tug my shoulder pulling me back down. I turn to Addison who has her hand on my shoulder.
"Sit down." She says.
"But-"
"No, just fucking sit down, I'm not in the mood to see you get in trouble because of a petty ass fight. Now cut it out." She let's go of me and ignore me the rest of lunch.
Why is she so mad at me? I didn't do anything.
It's fine I'll find out later, Charli had to go home early so I told her she could just go in my car, it's not like she hadn't drove it before. So I was riding home with Addison, and I was determined to figure out what was on her mind.
After school

"Hey Adds, ready to go." I say leaning against the locker next to hers.
She just shuts it and walks off. I'm so confused. What did I do?
"Addi, talk to me." She continues to ignore me, and gets in her car.
I get into the car and buckle up. She pulls out of the parking lot and drive in silence for a while. I put my hand on her thigh as a sign that I'm there.
"Take it off." She says as it begins to rain outside of the car.
"Why? Wait did I do?"
"Take. It. Off." She says through gritted teeth, and I remove my hand from her leg.
"Baby. Talk to me I'm right here."
"You never loved me like I loved you. I should have know it, you can't change." She says.
"What do you mean by that Addi?" I say confused.
She pulls over to the side of the road and puts it in park.
"Oh cut the shit will you Dixie. Stop acting so fucking innocent."
"Addison what the fuck are you talking about?"
"OH YOU DONT KNOW? WOW, YOU'RE SO FUCKED UP YOU CAN'T EVEN REALIZE YOU DID SOMETHING FUCKED UP. WHY AM I EVEN SURPRISED IT'S YOU!" She yells at me.
"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT! I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING. WHAT THE FUCK ADDISON?" I yell back.
"OH, SO HOOKING UP WITH SOMEONE IS NOTHING. RIGHT. YOU'RE DIXIE FUCKING D'AMELIO WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT."
"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ADDISON, I DIDN'T HOOK UP WITH ANYONE!"
"OH BECAUSE YOU GOING INTO THE CLOSET AND DRAGGING AVERY BEHIND YOU TO HOOK UP ISN'T CHEATING? NICE TO KNOW I'M NOT WITH A CHEATER!" She pushes me and I hit the door frame behind me.
"Addison, let me explain." I say.
"NO! GET THE FUck out of my car." She starts sobbing halfway through her sentence.
"Princess, I promise I wasn't chea-"
"GET OUT!" She yells pushing me again.
"GET OUT! GET OUT! GET OUT! I FUCKING HATE YOU! GET OUT OF MY GOD DAMN CAR!" She shoves me harder and harder.
"Adds listen to me."
"NO YOU DONT GET TO CALL ME THAT! THE GIRL WHO CALLED ME THAT IS GONE! THE GIRL I WAS IN LOVE WITH IS GONE."
I go to speak but she cuts me off.
"please, just get out. i don't want to hurt anymore." She sobs.
"Ok, fine I'll go, but just know that I didn't cheat on you, I was telling her to leave me alone and that I was focused on us. You can hate me, but I will NEVER give up on us. After that night I realized I couldn't never let you go again. I love you so much Adds."
"Just go. P- please" her voice falters.
"Okay baby." I place one last soft kiss on here forehead and step out into the rain with my stuff.
As soon as I close the door she speeds off.
As soon as the cars out of my line of vision I drop to my knees and start balling my eyes out.
20 minutes later
I finally get up as it starts to poor harder on me.
"Well the only reasonable thing to do is get high." I say.
"But the side of the road in the poring rain won't do it, who lives close?" I say out loud again.
"I know." I say and start walking in the direction of the house.
