I slam my fist down on my desk as one of the wolves stuttered.

“T-they w-w-were all k-killed, Alpha.”

I growl in impatience and roll my eyes.
Why is he stuttering like an idiot, my wolf growls in my head, annoyance in his tone.

“Dephanial, what do you mean they were all killed? They were our strongest warriors! We sent almost one hundred people!” I shout, growling angry. This was a pack of weaklings. One hundred against three? And they lost?

Dephanial flinches back and takes a deep breath. “The King and his Pack are very strong,” he says, admiration in his voice.

I growl, and without second thought, I snap his neck.
I never liked him anyway. He stuttered too much, my wolf complained.

“Angel, in my office now,” I yell loudly.

In a few seconds, the woman enters my office. She was a smart werewolf, and I needed her to make a weapon for me. I wanted to defeat that idiotic King. Why should he have all the power to himself?

“I need you to make something that will make our werewolves stronger. In speed, strength, reflexes, everything.”

Angel grinned, a smile overtaking her face.

“I thought you'd never ask.”
