Serena's POV

As I walk into class and see that most of the other students haven't shown up yet. I mean, the class is about to start in 15 minutes. I pull out my book and start reading, trying to kill some time. Finally, Mr. Frank comes in and starts lecturing us about staying focused, being disciplined, and having a schedule.

BANG!!!!

The door swung open with a loud bang and my heart skipped a beat when I saw him standing there, looking as handsome as ever. But then I heard the screams of his fans and rolled my eyes at the whole spectacle. Typical.

"ASHER!!!"

"ASHY!!!"

"ASHER MY HUBBY!!!"

"ASH I LOVE YOU!!!"

"ASH I AM PREGNANT WITH OUR CHILD!!! "


Silence.

So, like, after that line, everyone just went silent. Even Mr. Frank was just staring at Asher with his usual emotionless face. I mean, that's just his thing, you know? Always looking like he couldn't care less.He nervously laughed and said to the girls.

"O Sorry, but I am a virgin."

"Oh," the girls said disappointedly.

'So, apparently he's never done the deed, huh? Yeah, I find that hard to believe. And the girls are bummed out about it? Man, people can be so judgmental. Everyone's got their own timeline, you know?'

'Hell!!!!!'

"Mister Asher Anderson I thought you will not attend my class, but again It's an HONOR our that you are here, but could you please tell the reason why are you late?" Mr.Frank asked him.

"Well, sir, I was helping a lady."
He totally lied. I could just tell by the look on his face. You know what I mean? His expression was just screaming "I'm not being honest." Can't fool me, dude.

"O really?? Please tell me What help were you doing Mr. Anderson?? "

Oops, he is in trouble 

"UM... you know the ladies love to ask me to help... even when they don't need it..." he laughed nervously.

Seriously??

"Young man, you are in trouble again. I want to meet your father at the end of the day. If not, then, you are not allowed to attend the classes not only mine but other teachers also. Understood Mr. Anderson?" Mr.Frank strictly said.

He rolled his eyes and nod, then went to his seat.

Man, Mr. Frank is still giving him the stink eye, but I gotta admit, it's kinda funny. He's like a robot, never shows any emotions, but Asher can still push his buttons. It's entertaining having him as a teacher, for sure.

I couldn't help but chuckle to myself as I glanced over at Asher.  This guy is just too cute. I mean, he's got that perfect combo of being adorable, a little mischievous, and totally good-looking. It's not just about his outer appearance, though. He's got a great heart, too. Thinking back to when we first met, it's like it was just yesterday.

~Flashback~

So, it was my first day of college and I was already running late. As I was rushing to class, I accidentally bumped into this guy who was like a solid wall in the middle of the ground. And of course, being my clumsy self, I totally ran into him and ended up taking a tumble I was so annoyed that I couldn't help but let out a curse, but luckily he was cool about it and helped me up. It was pretty embarrassing, but at least I didn't break anything.

"Hey there, sweetie," he said with a grin. "Cursing just isn't right for a cutie like you."

'He called me little just because I'm not super tall. Like, seriously? What a stupid monkey. I couldn't believe it. Like, who even says stuff like that? So annoying.'

"Hey, I'm not a little kid, I'm 18 so I can totally curse you out if I want to. But instead of apologizing, you're over here flirting with me."

"Aw, so cute like an angry bird," he chuckled. That little guy was really giving off some serious angry bird vibes.

"Hey, whoever you are, just say sorry and bounce, don't waste my time," she said, clearly annoyed. He chuckled, then leaned in and whispered in my ear, "Sorry, my dear cute little Angry Bird."

I was totally blushing from how close we were. He saw my red face and just laughed before walking away. But then, he turned back around, winked at me, and waved. I was completely speechless.

'H-he is so-so stupid!!!' I said to myself and later left my class.

~Flashback end ~

I don't know how it happened, but I found myself watching him. Whenever I see him smiling, it just makes me smile too. My world used to feel so dark, but his smile brought some light into it. But then I started seeing him with other girls, and it really hurts my heart. I feel like a fool for being so crazy about him, especially since it's all one-sided. It makes me feel like I'm not special at all. But when I see his bright and happy face, I just ignore my own pain. I just want Asher to find a girl who loves him for who he is, not because of his looks or his background. It seems like the girls he's usually around are just after his looks or money.

'Why don't you date him if you love him so much' - Brain

.Brain always has to chime in with his two cents. Like, it's not that simple, you know? Just because I love someone doesn't mean I have to date them. Plus, there's a million other factors at play here. But of course, Brain doesn't care about that. He just wants to stir the pot.

'Because of my fear' - Heart

I have this fear that always holds me back from being open and living my life without burdening my loved ones. It's like a constant weight on my shoulders that I can't seem to shake off. I try to push through it, but it's scary and overwhelming. I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't even realize when my class ended. I had to take a moment to compose myself in the washroom because I was sweating like crazy. After washing my face and taking a deep breath, I gathered my composure and headed to my next class.

"I hope this ends."
