«Mondo Owada's perspective »
The chain feels burning on my neck, cutting off my breath so only strangled cries escape.
The bike feels blisteringly hot under my legs, and it takes a few seconds for my vision to focus. I'm inside a vast cage, strapped to a bike.
"What the fu..." I trail off as the bike begins to rev up, driving around and around the cage. Faster, faster, faster, until I can't even scream any more. I can't see I can't breathe just burning pain, burning lungs heaving for air, burning eyes streaming.
"Ishimaru?" I see his blurry face in front of me, framed by golden streams of light.
I reach out...

The momentum of the bike plunges me backwards, faster, faster, until I can't see anymore. Everything's spinning spinning spinning and burning burning burning until-

I'm not there anymore. I fly into the sky, breathing gulps if pure air. Ishimaru pulls me into a hug, and I relax.
"I love you..." I whisper, and everything dissolves.
