Chris POV
His dad was laying on his stomach, a rag tied around his mouth as a gag and his hands tied behind his back. There were multiple cuts and bruises traveling up his exposed arms that looked slightly purple. His eyes were shut and his face was emotionless. There were bruises and gashes all over his face as if someone really was pissed off. I could see various knife wounds in his back through the holes that were formed on his shirt. But was really caught my eye was the multiple bullet wounds on his body and some on his face.
His dad was tortured before killed.
"Dad!!" Kade cried helplessly. Immediately Kade tried to rush to his father's aid but I wrapped my arm around his torso and jerked him back.
"Kade don't touch him!!" I said very firmly as I held him back away from his father's corpse. I could already tell, just by looking at him, that he was already dead. He's been dead for a little while. Maybe an hour or so. Kade immediately began to fight me. Punching at my arm that was around his small torso and thrashing around in an attempt to get free. But It was totally useless since I was for more stronger than he was. Than he began to claw at my arm, digging his nails into my flesh. It stung just a little but otherwise I didn't break my hold on him.
"I have to help him!!" He practically screamed at me, tears streaming down his pale cheeks. I honestly felt this surge of...sadness through out my body as he sobbed uncontrollably hard and loudly.
"Kade it's too late" I whispered in his ear before pulling him further away from his dad. I reached into my pocket and pulled out my cellphone, unlocking it and dialing a number I never thought I would ever be dialing.
911.
I hit "Call" and pressed the phone up to my ear. I had to pull myself away from Kade for just a moment but keeping a grip on his arm. He thought it was his chance and tried to run but I kept him in place.
"911 what's your Emergency?" Some lady's monotone voice answered me.
"Yeah I need an ambulance at 1500 Woodcliff drive and don't ask questions just get here" I snapped before hanging up and shoving my phone back into my pocket. I pulled Kade back to me and I turned him away from his dad and forced him to look at me. I didn't want those images burned into his mind permanently like me...
Kade's eyes were red and glossy, his eyelids were puffy from the harsh crying and his cheeks were stained with tears. His bottom lip was trembling but I could just see the heartbreak in his baby blue eyes. His tiny hands gripped my arms as he looked up at me. I was glad he stopped trying to escape.
"He can't be gone...He can't be!" I sighed and cupped his face.
"I'm sorry Kade.." There was nothing I could really say now at this point other than I was truly sorry. No bullshit, no taunting him, no lies. Just being real because I was genuinely sorry. Sorry because I know this pain all too well...But he doesn't have to know that.
Kade began to shake his head vigorously, as if he was trying to wake up from a bad dream. It's the denial. He's trying to convince himself that it's not real. Again. I know this all too well.
"Why...why would he do this?" Kade whispered to me faintly but I could still hear his voice shaking. He was trying to calm himself down but it wasn't working very well. He, being Oli, probably thought this was a nice way to play games. But little did he know, he just entered a game that will make his nightmares seem like heaven. This.Was.Too.Fucking.Far.
Then...Kade lost it.
"He-he-he killed my mom!!! He killed my dad!!! He took them away from me!!!" Kade began to wail before tearing himself away from me. He gripped his hair and began to pace, as if he didn't know what to do with himself. How he found out Oli killed his mom was beyond me...Fuck I didn't even know his mom was dead...But I'm saving that for later.
